What are Burr Puzzles?

For the uninitiated, a burr puzzle is an interlocking puzzle consisting of notched sticks or blocks that combine to create a solid three-dimensional shape. The challenge lies in finding the exact sequence of slides, twists, and pulls required to dismantle the structure.

In Puzzle Islands, this concept is elevated through VR. Instead of clicking and dragging, you reach out with your hands to manipulate more than 30 handcrafted puzzles. The game features designs from professional real-world puzzle creators, ensuring that the logic remains as sharp as the visuals.

While the puzzles themselves can be brain-bending, the environment is anything but stressful. The game is set across a series of serene, whimsical islands accompanied by a relaxing, atmospheric soundtrack.

The Bird Companion: You aren’t alone on these islands. Players are joined by a tiny bird friend that hatches and grows as you progress through the game’s mini-story arc.
