Grab your ladles and roll up your sleeves! Tokyo-based developer Wild Dog Inc. (led by CEO Hiroto Nakajo) has officially announced that Japanese Ramen Simulator will launch into Steam Early Access on 28 September 2026 at 9:00 AM Japan Standard Time (UTC+9) — bringing authentic ramen-shop management chaos to up to six hungry players.
What’s on the Menu?
This isn’t just about boiling noodles — it’s about building your dream ramen empire, bowl by delicious bowl. Whether you fly solo or team up with friends, you’ll handle every part of the business:
- From scratch to soup: Prepare fresh ingredients, craft rich broths, cook noodles to perfect texture, and layer on toppings — all with realistic physics and precise timing affecting taste and customer satisfaction.
- Co-op for up to six: Split duties with your crew — one preps, one cooks, one serves, one manages the floor — or hire part-time staff to run the shop on your own.
- Make it yours: Design your kitchen and dining area, create original ramen recipes, customise your shop’s look, and even decide on your signature soup-pouring style.
- More than ramen: Serve gyoza, pour cold beer, handle rush-hour crowds, keep customers happy — and yes, even deal with unexpected visitors and the occasional thief!
Why Early Access?
Wild Dog Inc. plans to keep the game in development for roughly six months, refining recipes, mechanics, and features based directly on player feedback before the full release. The Early Access build already packs the full core experience — cooking, service, customisation, and multiplayer — with plenty of extras still simmering away.
