    The Force is Strong with new Star Wars Games coming to Fortnite

    The Force isn’t just strong with Fortnite this year; it’s practically taking over the entire island. While we’ve grown accustomed to the annual May the 4th lightsaber duels and Stormtrooper sightings, 2026 is marking a massive shift in the partnership between Epic Games and Disney.

    Starting May 1st, Fortnite is transforming into the ultimate Star Wars hub, launching a massive wave of new games and experiences built directly within the platform. Here is everything you need to know about the jump to lightspeed.

    Three Massive New Game Modes

    Epic has moved beyond simple “crossovers.” This year, they’ve partnered with top-tier creative studios to launch three distinct Star Wars games within the Fortnite ecosystem:

    • Galactic Siege (Island Code: 5003-9856-3648): Developed with JOGO Studios, this is a massive 10v10 class-based PvP battle. If you’ve ever wanted to take part in large-scale planetary skirmishes across the Star Wars universe using Fortnite’s mechanics, this is your frontline.
    • Escape Vader (Island Code: 7285-4185-5428): A 4-player co-op horror/survival experience created by Beyond Creative. You’re trapped on the Death Star, and Lord Vader is hunting you. It features first-person support for a truly terrifying perspective of the Sith Lord.
    • Droid Tycoon (Island Code: 7865-8305-9184): For those who prefer building over battling, this management game lets you run your own droid workshop, using authentic Star Wars blueprints to manufacture everything from Astromechs to Protocol droids.

    The Mandalorian & Grogu: Exclusive Sneak Peek

    The collaboration isn’t just about the games—it’s also about the big screen. With the Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu film hitting cinemas on May 22nd, Fortnite is hosting an exclusive Watch Party Island on May 19th.

    Players who visit the island can:

    • Watch a 10-minute world-exclusive preview of the movie.
    • Hear a special message from director Jon Favreau.
    • Complete bounty-hunting missions on Nevarro to unlock the Mandalorian Sanctuary loading screen.

    LEGO Fortnite Gets a Galactic Glow-up

    Don’t think the survival-crafters were forgotten. On May 14th, LEGO Fortnite receives its own dedicated Star Wars update. Expect to see the Hover Brick for building custom speeders, new LEGO versions of Mando and Grogu, and Star Wars-themed enemies invading your LEGO worlds.

    The “Clone Wars” Are Back
