Now, things are getting even weirder — and wonderfully so — thanks to Takahashi’s signature touch:

For lead developer Andrew Gillett — a veteran of titles including LostWinds and Elite Dangerous — this is a dream collaboration: “As someone who has loved Katamari Damacy ever since its release in 2004, it’s really exciting to be working with the man behind it. I always try to make games which are a bit unhinged, so when I was looking for an artist to supplement the visuals in Reality Drift, Keita was the perfect fit.”
