The “legacy” of NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER continues to defy expectations. Nearly eight years after its initial launch, Bandai Namco has officially dropped its 47th DLC character, and it’s a fan-favourite heavy hitter from the original series: Kimimaro Kaguya.

Available as of February 27, 2026, Kimimaro joins the fight as part of Season Pass 9, bringing his unique and brutal Shikotsumyaku (Dead Bone Pulse) kekkei genkai to the 4v4 arena.

The Power of the Kaguya Clan

Kimimaro enters the roster as an Attack Type master, focusing on high-pressure close-quarters combat and area denial. If you’ve been looking for a way to shred through enemy defences while looking incredibly stylish, his moveset is designed for exactly that.

Here is a breakdown of Kimimaro’s DLC 47 toolkit:

Ninjutsu 1: Larch Dance – A defensive/offensive hybrid. Kimimaro causes bones to protrude from his body, slashing anyone nearby. It can block incoming attacks and trigger a powerful counter-lunge.

Ninjutsu 2: Clematis Dance – A two-part attack. You can use his whip-like spine for area damage or charge in with a massive bone spear for a devastating direct hit.

Secret Technique: Bracken Dance – The ultimate crowd-control move. Kimimaro erupts a forest of giant bones from the ground, launching enemies into the air before finishing them off with a high-power spear strike.

More Than Just a New Character

As with all Master Character Training Packs, this DLC isn’t just about the character himself; it’s about customising your own avatar with some of the coolest gear we’ve seen in a while.

Season 10 and Beyond

Perhaps the biggest surprise alongside Kimimaro’s release is the official confirmation of Season 10. While many players assumed the game was nearing its sunset, Bandai Namco has doubled down.

The update also brings a refresh to the Scroll Lineup, featuring the new SS+ weapon “Passion Gear: Youth at Full Power” for Attack types. If you’re a Ranged main, keep your eyes peeled for the White Light Blade “Kamui” arriving later this spring.
