    In CaTHaRSiS ~The last of atelier~, you step into the role of a nameless, blank-canvas entity awakening in a vast, empty white void with no memories or sense of self. Guided by a mysterious voice, you are drawn toward ten iconic masterpieces hanging in the silence. These artworks act as gateways into distinct alternate dimensions where human emotion and memories frozen in time can be explored firsthand.

    Rather than offering a static virtual gallery, CaTHaRSiS invites you to wander inside famous works by legendary artists, including:

    By combining the abilities of your companions, you can unlock deeper layers of each painting, gradually filling your empty heart with colour, light, and memory.

    Designed as a stress-free, contemplative experience, CaTHaRSiS features no time limits, no game-over screens, and no punishing mechanics. Instead, it invites players to soak in the atmosphere at their own pace.

    Developed by solo creator Mana—winner of Epic Games’ Unreal Contest 5—CaTHaRSiS ~The last of atelier~ serves as their debut commercial title after joining Kodansha Game Creators’ Lab in early 2024.
