The studio has officially announced that the Kickstarter campaign for its highly anticipated asymmetrical multiplayer horror experience, Last Summer, is officially live!
To mark the launch, they’ve also dropped a brutal first gameplay trailer that gives us a glimpse of the terror to come:
What begins as one final carefree getaway quickly descends into terror. Arriving at Silent Lamb Camp ahead of the summer season, a group of friends spend their nights drinking, laughing, and sharing ghost stories around the campfire. But when the legend of a masked killer, said to arrive aboard a ghostly train and leave nothing but blood and silence in his wake, proves to be more than just a story, their final night becomes a desperate fight for survival.
The Rules of Survival: Hunt or Be Hunted
If you’ve spent hours running from killers in Friday the 13th: The Game or Dead by Daylight, Last Summer is aiming to be your next obsession. Built around community-driven design, the game splits players into two distinct roles:
- The Killer: Stalk the shadows of Silent Lamb Camp as the legendary, masked “Train Killer.” Your objective is beautifully simple: isolate the victims, spread fear, and trigger visceral execution moves (including a uniquely brutal “Television Environmental Execution”) to eliminate every last survivor.
- The Campers: Survival relies entirely on teamwork, instinct, and quick thinking. You’ll choose from characters with unique stats and attributes, scavenge for resources, coordinate with friends, and even fight back when cornered.
With dynamic encounters, multiple escape routes, and a deep character customization tool, no two matches will ever play out the same way.
