Indie developer Pixel Ghost has officially announced that Life’s Too Short—a cosy little adventure game starring a problem-solving ghost—is now available on Steam!
This full release comes right on the heels of a short and sweet demo that debuted to plenty of praise during Steam Next Fest in June 2026.
What is Life’s Too Short?
In Life’s Too Short, players step into the floating shoes of a celestial problem-solver—a helpful little ghost who has been called in to fix a major crisis: two vampires living in a spooky mansion have had a dramatic falling out and retreated into their respective coffins.
It is up to you to explore the mansion, interact with a colourful cast of ghastly ghouls and creepy cats, and solve charming, accessible puzzles to mend the vampires’ broken relationship. Beyond patch-working their romance, your goal as a friendly ghost is simply to spread good vibes and leave things a little better than you found them!
