What Is MR. RECORDS?
MR. RECORDS is a heartfelt rhythm-adventure about George, a man who finally chases his lifelong dream of opening his very own record shop. Every album he spins transforms into a fully playable journey — surreal dream worlds where you run, jump, slide, and dodge in perfect sync with the music. The game weaves together original styles — funk, rock, hip-hop, electro, world music, 80s pop — with a tender story about memory, regret, connection, and the redemptive power of music.
Now You’re in Control — The Music Level Editor
The big news: the Music Level Editor is live right now in the updated Steam demo. Here’s what you can do:
- Build from the Beat Up — Place notes, obstacles, and effects along a music timeline, then jump straight in and play your creation
- Style Everything — Customise colours, animations, backgrounds, and visual assets to match the vibe
- Your Tracks, Your Tempo — On PC, import your own music, and the editor generates gameplay synced to every beat
- Share the Vibe — Send your custom levels to friends or the wider community, and play what others have made
- Coming to All Platforms — The editor will be included in every version of the full game: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Note: custom music import and sharing are PC-only
