    Developed by the innovative team at Thoughtfish GmbH, How to God is a VR deity simulator that moves beyond simple city-building, giving you tactile, immersive control over a living, breathing world. Whether you want to be a nurturing guardian or a chaotic force of nature, the power is literally in your hands.

    What’s in the Demo?

    The Steam Next Fest demo gives you a generous first taste of divine life. You’ll step into the shoes of a novice deity and begin your journey through:

    • Civilisation Shaping: Construct everything from humble huts to grand temples. Your followers react to your every move—they’ll pray, build, or even strike depending on how you lead.
    • Creature Training: You aren’t alone. You’ll raise a unique, powerful creature that evolves based on your guidance. Reward it with treats or discipline it when it wanders off; its personality is a reflection of your own.
    • Elemental Alchemy: Mix materials like fire, water, and (yes) even villagers to discover new spells and resources.
    • Epic Quests: Follow branching storylines and face off against rival gods who dare to challenge your authority.
