    The wait for America’s Number 1 Pro Hero is over. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has officially launched Season 16 of MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE, and it’s a massive one. Not only are we getting one of the most powerful characters in the My Hero Academia universe, but the update also marks the game’s 2.5-year anniversary, bringing a wave of celebratory content and long-awaited features.

    Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a new recruit, here is everything you need to know about the Season 16 update.

    The Arrival of Star and Stripe

    The headline for Season 16 is undoubtedly the debut of Star and Stripe. As the top-ranking hero from the United States, she brings her reality-bending Quirk, “New Order,” to the 24-player battle royale.

    Role: Strike

    Signature Quirk (New Order): Her playstyle revolves around setting “rules” on her surroundings. In-game, this translates to devastating Area of Effect (AoE) attacks and the ability to physically manifest giant air visages to crush opponents.

    High Risk, High Reward: While her attacks are massive, using her more powerful abilities makes her a visible target—much like Mt. Lady’s giant form.

    2.5 Year Anniversary Celebrations

    To celebrate two and a half years of quirk-filled chaos, Season 16 is packed with rewards and “quality of life” improvements to the gacha system.

    Special Anniversary Roll: A new “Select Roll” feature allows players to pick eight specific Battle Styles to increase their drop rates. If you’ve been chasing a specific character or skillset, now is the time to burn those tickets.

    New Battle Styles: * Bakugo (Technical): A brand new “Cluster” skillset for Bakugo launches mid-season (April 22), focusing on condensed explosive energy and “AP Shot” barrages.
