    The mecha-mayhem is showing no signs of slowing down. MY.GAMES has announced that its hit tactical PvP shooter, War Robots, is returning today with a brand-new instalment of the War Robots Live Show series.

    Developed by in-house studio Pixonic, the game continues to be a juggernaut in the mobile and PC space. Having recently surpassed the incredible milestone of 325 million registered players worldwide, the team is celebrating with high-octane cinematics and a first look at the “horrors” coming in the next major update.

    The Martian Robotic Games Take Centre Stage

    The latest episode of the War Robots Live Show highlights the Martian Robotic Games, a massive in-game event inspired by the spirit of global athletic competitions.

    The centrepiece of the episode is an explosive cinematic showdown between two elite Titans: Bersagliere and Atlas. Captured through the perspective of hovering support drones, the battle offers a “broadcast-style” experience complete with dynamic camera angles and intense replays that feel more like a championship sporting event than a standard gameplay trailer.

    A First Look at Update 12.1: “Shadow over Shore”

    While the Live Show celebrates the current festivities, the developers also gave players a chilling glimpse into the future. The next major update, Shadow over Shore, is scheduled to arrive on May 24, 2026.

    This update shifts the tone from the bright arenas of Mars to a derelict, fog-shrouded coastal city on Earth—a place haunted by biomechanical nightmares. Key highlights include:

    • New Robot (Shoggoth): A Lovecraftian-inspired sniper capable of “corner-shooting.” It can elevate its weapons 70 meters high to fire over cover while remaining completely protected.
    • Spatial Weaponry: The new Shantak, Urhag, and Voonith cannons fire vertical energy blades that literally slice through space, increasing in power the further they travel.
    • R’lyeh Mothership: This support craft spawns a “Funnel of Doom” that drains an enemy’s maximum durability, making it a hard counter to repair and healing metas.
    • The Return of a Legend: The fan-favourite Ultimate Rhino returns to the battlefield, equipped with unbreakable shields to challenge the current power rankings.

    Now in its 12th year, War Robots remains a rare member of the “Billion Dollar Club.” With a growth rate of roughly 20 million new players annually, the game’s transition into a true cross-platform experience—featuring seamless progression between mobile and PC—has solidified its place as the premier mecha-action title.
