Montreal-based developer North Side Inc. has officially pulled back the curtain on Bot Colony _Redux, releasing both a brand-new official trailer and an extended gameplay look that showcases the future of AI-driven interaction.

Talk, Type, and Interrogate
Bot Colony _Redux isn’t your typical branching-dialogue RPG. There are no pre-written scripts here. Instead, the game utilises a sophisticated natural-language-understanding pipeline that allows you to speak or type naturally to the robots you encounter.
The latest update highlights a massive leap forward: Multilingual Support. You can now engage with the game’s AI in English and 10 other languages, including:
- Spanish (for those bad flirting attempts)
- Korean (for high-stakes interrogations)
- Russian (for those heated arguments)
- Japanese, French, German, and more.
Perhaps the most impressive part? You can switch languages mid-sentence, and the robots—powered by OpenAI’s GPT-5—will keep up, leading to interactions that are as hilarious as they are lifelike.
What’s New in the Redux?
North Side hasn’t just updated the vocabulary; they’ve overhauled the entire experience in Unreal Engine 5.6. The new gameplay trailer gives us a glimpse of:
- Upgraded Visuals: A game-wide remaster of environments, robots, and vehicles with sophisticated shaders and real-time lighting.
- Enhanced Stealth & Combat: New stealth-shooter gameplay in the “Riot” episode and expanded missions in “Intruder.”
