Order from Chaos — Cluttermancer: Tidy Up the Nightmare Alley Unleashes Demo & Launch Date

Every shelf has a rule. Every item has a place. And this alley has been waiting for someone who knows how to sort.

Co-developers Ivy Juice and SethMadDev — the creative duo behind the warmly received My Little Cafe Nightmare — have confirmed that Cluttermancer: Tidy Up the Nightmare Alley will drop its free Steam demo on October 17 at 6 PM CEST, right on the eve of Steam Next Fest (October 19–26). Even better: the full Early Access release lands just days later on October 30, 2026, bringing order to a magical, crooked street that’s never known it.

The Alley That Lost Its Way

You step into the shoes of the Cluttermancer — part cleaner, part sorter, the only person in the realm who sees the logic beneath the mess. The Nightmare Alley is a bustling, cobblestone-lined lane crammed with five distinct magical shops, each one overflowing with 6,666 enchanted items that have somehow ended up everywhere except where they belong.

Wands hum in potion racks. Ancient tomes whisper from broom closets. Gravestones lean against bakery counters. And yes — your stolen cafe cups from My Little Cafe Nightmare have turned up too, pilfered and scattered across a dozen shelves. Every shop has its own sorting rules, its own quirks, and its own brand of beautiful, bewildering chaos.

    Sort. Arrange. Restore.

    This isn’t just cleaning — it’s magical order-keeping:

    • Five Unique Shops — a wand emporium, a potion apothecary, a forbidden library, a curiosities bazaar, and a very odd cafe. Each demands different logic; what works in one will fail in the next
    • 6,666 Items to Tame — categorise, shelve, and arrange thousands of enchanted objects. Some glow when placed correctly; others hum, or even float, revealing hidden compartments and bonus rewards
    • A Story Unfolds — as you restore order, the alley begins to tell its secrets. Why is everything misplaced? Who — or what — keeps unravelling the shelves? And can you truly tidy a place that feeds on clutter?
    • Cosy, Calming Atmosphere — gentle lighting, warm sounds, and a relaxing soundtrack make this less a chore and more a meditative escape. Perfect for unwinding at the end of a busy day

From Cafe to Alley — A Shared Universe Grows

Cluttermancer is set in the same whimsical world as My Little Cafe Nightmare, the hit debut that has sold over 15,000 copies to date. This time, the partnership is deeper: Ivy Juice and SethMadDev are co-developing the game together, pooling their strengths to build something bigger, richer, and packed with secrets.

“We loved building My Little Cafe Nightmare, but Cluttermancer is the project we’ve wanted to make all along — a place where every misplaced item feels like a tiny mystery, and every organised shelf feels like a victory.” — Ivy Juice & SethMadDev
