    Apex Legends x Gundam Event Revealed is coming March 10th

    Buckle up, Legends. Two of the most iconic universes in sci-fi are about to collide. Respawn Entertainment has officially revealed the Apex Legends x Gundam crossover event, and it’s set to land on March 10, 2026.

    This isn’t just a handful of skins; we’re looking at a full-scale invasion of Mobile Suits, reimagined maps, and gameplay mechanics that feel straight out of a high-octane anime.

    Broken Moon Reimagined

    The centrepiece of the event is a massive transformation for Broken Moon. The map is being turned into a war-torn Gundam battlefield. Expect to see:

    Wrecked Mobile Suits: Massive husks of fallen mechs scattered across the terrain.

    Wing Gundam Statues: Gigantic, climbable monuments that double as tactical high-ground landmarks.

    Aerial Dogfights: Look up to see massive ships and mechs battling it out in the skies while you fight on the ground.

    Suit Up: Iconic Legend Skins

    The collaboration brings eight legendary skins inspired by specific Mobile Suits. If you’ve ever wanted to drop into the Outlands as a Newtype, now is your chance.

    Pro Tip: Keep an eye on the Reward Shop! You can earn medals during the event to unlock a Char Aznable-inspired skin for the newest Legend, Sparrow, for free.

    New Gameplay: Wild Cards & The Buster Rifle

    The event introduces the “Wild Card” system, adding unique abilities to the mix. These will change the flow of combat in the limited-time mode:

    Epyon’s Lash: Adds a magnetic melee pull to your tactical.

    Heavyarms Salvo: Successfully landing hits marks enemies for a devastating air support missile strike.

    Zero Sacrifice: A high-stakes “self-destruct” mechanic that triggers an explosion upon being knocked, punishing anyone too close.

    Zero Rebirth: Allows you to enter the Void when knocked and reappear with 1 HP and temporary invulnerability.

    And if you find a Care Package? You might just snag the Buster Rifle. This power weapon allows for aerial recon and fires a massive laser beam that pierces through cover and explodes on impact.

    Real-World Rewards: Limited Edition Gunpla

    For the collectors out there, the collaboration extends beyond the screen. Bandai Namco is releasing three limited-edition RG 1/144 Real Grade Gunpla kits based on the Apex versions of Crypto, Valkyrie, and Alter. Pre-orders for these kits are scheduled to open on March 18.

    The Apex Legends x Gundam event runs from March 10 until April 14. Whether you’re here for the high-tier cosmetics or the chaotic new Wild Card abilities, it’s time to show the Outlands that you’re more than just a pilot.

    Apex Legends: Breach (Season 28) officially launches on February 10th

    New Mechanic: Hardlight Mesh

    The biggest game-changer this season is the introduction of Hardlight Mesh windows.

    What it is: Translucent, destructible barriers that replace many open windows in buildings.

    The Strategy: You can see through them to scout, but you’ll need to smash them to shoot through.

    Controller Buff: Legends in the Controller class can repair and reinforce these meshes, making them harder to break and turning buildings into true fortresses.

    Legend Reworks & Buffs

    Fuse (The Star of Breach): Receives a massive rework. His new “Knuckle Jumper” upgrade lets him leap past defences, while his ultimate has been overhauled to flush out squads with even more explosive pressure.

    Bloodhound: Focuses on the hunt with a reduced ultimate cooldown and the ability to extend Beast of the Hunt with every knockdown.

    Catalyst: Her Dark Veil can now be deployed horizontally, and her spikes can be hidden from view, making her a defensive nightmare.

    Ranked & Gameplay Updates

    Dropship Return: After community feedback, the “Drop Zone” experiment is over. Ranked is returning to the classic Dropship start, giving players full agency over their landing spots.

    Loot Cleanup: White Backpacks are now standard equipment at spawn, and Knockdown Shields have been removed from ground loot—their strength now scales automatically with your Legend Level.

    Bot Royale Evolved: Now supports up to five human squads and allows for full XP/Challenge progression.

    7th Anniversary Event

    Log in during the launch to celebrate seven years of Apex!

    Free Unlocks: Complete challenges to permanently unlock Valkyrie, Revenant, Conduit, and Sparrow.

    The Rewards: A community-created reward track, SWAT-themed tactical skins, and a new Mythic Peacekeeper skin.
