    Digital Dreams Entertainment Inc. has officially announced a match made in heavy metal hell: Mutant Football League 2: Antarctica Scumdogs. This upcoming, blood-soaked DLC pack brings the iconic, boundary-breaking shock-rock band directly into the chaotic world of arcade football.

    The expansion is officially set to hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam in October 2026.

    The Scumdogs Hit the Frozen Tundra

    For over three decades, GWAR has delivered a legendary cocktail of heavy metal, outrageous sci-fi mythology, and over-the-top stage gore. Now, they’re taking their violent theatricality to a stadium near you—complete with goalposts, buzzsaws, and brutal tackle mechanics.

    Mutant Football League 2 is already famous for its disregard for traditional sportsmanship. Referees are routinely murdered, dirty tricks are encouraged, and a single mistake can leave players dismembered in environmental hazards. It’s the ultimate nightmare playground, and fittingly, it marks GWAR’s first official video game appearance in over 30 years.

    GWAR frontman Blöthar the Berserker sounded off on the apocalyptic crossover:

    “Today, the Antarctica Scumdogs of GWAR take to the frozen tundra of the Mutant Football League, where killing isn’t everything, it’s the ONLY thing! Let the games begin!!”

    Designed to be the most physically destructive team in the game, the Antarctica Scumdogs lineup features GWAR’s legendary members in custom positions tailored to maximum carnage:

    • BälSäc the Jaws ‘O Death – Bruise Receiver
    • Grodius Maximus – Wide Receiver

    Alongside the fearsome lineup, players will get to battle it out in a brand-new stadium heavily steeped in GWAR lore, featuring unique traps, hazards, and unannounced surprises saved for the launch.

    Gamers won’t have to wait until October to catch a glimpse of the carnage. The Antarctica Scumdogs DLC will make its world-first playable debut at PAX West in Seattle (Sept 4–7, 2026) at the Digital Dreams Entertainment booth (Arch Building, Level 4, Booth #853).
