Blending satisfying merge mechanics with elements of puzzle, action, and arcade shooting, KESU-JI is set to launch on Steam on Friday, August 28, 2026, followed by a Nintendo Switch release in Autumn 2026.
What is KESU-JI?
At its core, KESU-JI takes the universally satisfying mechanic of merging matching blocks and spins it into six completely distinct gameplay modes. Set against a chill visual aesthetic accompanied by relaxing sound design, the game lets players relax at their own pace while offering deep high-score chasing for those with a competitive edge.
Whether you prefer traditional puzzle strategy, fast-paced arcade action, or drone combat, KESU-JI packs something for every playstyle:
- Mode Gravity: Centre-focused physics! Keep merging blocks around a gravitational core to stay within the designated safe zone.
- Mode Shooter: Fast-paced action where blocks close in from 360 degrees. Match identical numbers to clear space and rack up points!
- Mode MewMew: A race against the clockâstack your blocks as high as possible before time runs out to earn massive multipliers.
- Mode 65536: The ultimate merge challenge! Merge numbers continuously to double their values and reach the elusive 65536 tile.
- Mode Climbing: A gruelling time-attack mode where you must merge efficiently to scale a mountain peak under pressure.
- Mode Drone: Action-shooting fusion! Pilot a drone, defend the DNA core, blast incoming enemies, and gain EXP to upgrade your abilities.
