The battle royale arena is about to get a massive dose of supernatural energy. KRAFTON, Inc. has officially announced a high-profile, limited-time collaboration between PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and the hit anime series JUJUTSU KAISEN.

Launching on September 10 for PC and September 17 for consoles, this crossover merges the tactical realism of PUBG with the dark, supernatural world of sorcerers and cursed spirits.

Cursed Energy Takes Over Erangel

Rather than just dropping cosmetics into the store, KRAFTON is integrating themed elements directly into regular gameplay. Players dropping into Erangel will encounter transformed environments and special interactive zones:

• Domain Expansion on the Starting Island: Players will find Jujutsu Kaisen Boxes on the starting island. By throwing Mysterious Orbs at them, players can spawn a life-size statue of Satoru Gojo, triggering a 15-second Domain Expansion: Infinite Void visual effect across the staging area.
• Jujutsu Kaisen Warehouses & Vending Machines: Special warehouses across Erangel feature photo spots, character standees, and exclusive Jujutsu Kaisen vending machines that dispense boost and healing items.
• Themed Transport: Even the supply drops and aircraft get a complete Jujutsu Kaisen makeover.

Legendary Outfits & Progressive Weapon Skins

For fans looking to showcase their favourite sorcerers (or cursed spirits), the crossover introduces a stack of themed cosmetics, outfits, and progressive weapon skins in the Workshop:

• Ryomen Sukuna – Beryl M762 (Progressive Skin)
• Satoru Gojo – M24 (Progressive Skin)
• Megumi Fushiguro – VSS (Progressive Skin)
• Suguru Geto – Pan & Step-Up Costume Sets

Progressive weapon skins feature custom inspect animations, killfeed icons, muzzle effects, and unique Deathbox designs as you level them up.

In-Game Events and Event Dates

Players can complete limited-time event missions to earn themed rewards, including Cargo Tickets, Contraband Coupons, and Jujutsu Kaisen Tokens to craft cosmetics in the Workshop.
