LET IT DIE: INFERNO Season 2 Hits Hell Gate on March 10th Here’s What’s Coming

Prepare to descend once more, Raiders. GungHo Online Entertainment and Supertrick Games have officially pulled back the curtain on Season 2 of LET IT DIE: INFERNO, and it’s shaping up to be a blood-soaked evolution of the rogue-lite survival action we’ve come to love (and fear).

Kicking off on March 10 at 12 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. GMT, Season 2 brings a massive injection of content, including new ways to play, gear that defies logic, and a major shift for the franchise as a whole.

New Ways to Survive (and Die)

The biggest addition this season is the introduction of dedicated Solo and Duo PvE modes.

Solo Mode: Perfect for those who want to test their mettle against the “Yuckies” without the chaos of other players.

Duo Mode: Finally, you can bring a friend into the depths of Hell Gate to watch your back—or use them as a meat shield.

If you thought you knew the layout of Hell Gate, think again. Season 2 introduces shifted enemy placements, meaning your memorised routes are now obsolete. You’ll also encounter Elite enemies—identifiable by their glowing or flashing eyes—who offer a much stiffer challenge but presumably better rewards.

The New Arsenal: Trucks, Shields, and Curses
It wouldn’t be a LET IT DIE update without some truly bizarre weaponry. Season 2 introduces three standout additions:

The Dekotora: This is literally a weapon built from a truck. It features a three-level chargeable deathblow and a “Hellish Drive” sliding attack.

The Shield: More than just a defensive tool. When two-handed, its guard type shifts from High to Middle, allowing for specialized counterattacks against heavy hitters.

The Vampiric Tree: A brutal weapon that inflicts a “Curse” on deathblows. It’s designed specifically for aggressive duo follow-ups to melt through enemy health bars.

Quality of Life & System Updates

Supertrick Games has clearly been listening to player feedback. Season 2 introduces a long-requested Lock-on Targeting system, which should make the fast-paced, chaotic fights much more manageable on both PS5 and PC.

    Other notable updates include:

A New Mastery System: Permanent progression for your Raiders.

Expanded Crafting: More slots and an upgraded blueprint system.

Start Dash Event: Players who take down the final boss during the event window will snag exclusive cosmetic rewards.

The “End” of the Original LET IT DIE?

In a bittersweet twist, GungHo also announced that the original 2016 LET IT DIE is entering its final chapter. The online servers are scheduled to shut down on September 1, 2026.

However, it’s not all bad news. An Offline Version is set to launch in Fall 2026.

Save Transfers: Existing players can purchase an “Offline Patch” DLC to move their progress over.

Economy Shift: Death Metals will be discontinued in favor of Kill Coins for continues and storage.

No Microtransactions: The offline version will be a complete, standalone experience.

Whether you’re a veteran of the Tower of Barbs or a new Raider in the Inferno, March 10 is looking like a busy day. Just remember: in Hell Gate, death is only the beginning of a very expensive lesson.

  • ICARUS: Console Edition launching at the end of Feb

ICARUS: Console Edition launching at the end of Feb

The long-awaited drop is finally here. After years of PC-exclusive survival, ICARUS: Console Edition is officially making its planetary debut.

Whether you’re a veteran prospector or a first-time survivor, here is everything you need to know about the jump to PlayStation and Xbox.

    The Launch Details

    • Release Date: February 26, 2026.
    • Platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
    • The Content: This isn’t just a port of the 2021 base game. The Console Edition includes the New Frontiers expansion from day one, giving you access to the massive, alien-infested region of Prometheus.

    What to Expect on Icarus

If you’re new to the lore, Icarus is a session-based PvE survival game from the creator of DayZ. You are a prospector dropping onto a broken planet where terraforming went catastrophically wrong.

    • Hostile Environments: From toxic atmosphere to flash storms and “flesh-eating” wildlife, the planet wants you dead.
    • The Mission: Land, complete your objective (or just build a massive base), mine for rare Exotics, and get back to orbit before your timer runs out.
    • Progression: Use your hard-earned Exotics in the Orbital Workshop to buy permanent high-tech gear for your next drop.

    Console-Specific Features

    • Optimised Performance: Expect 4K resolution and 60 FPS on the latest hardware.
    • Multiplayer: Team up with up to 4 players in online co-op.
    • No Cross-play: Take note—cross-play is not supported between PC and consoles, nor between PS5 and Xbox. You’ll need to be on the same platform as your squad.
    • Pre-order Bonus: Grabbing the game early unlocks the Pet Companions Pack, which adds 11 domestic animals (cats, dogs, and horses) to help keep you sane in the wilderness.

Pro Tip: If you’re playing solo, make sure to invest in the Solo Talent Tree. It provides massive buffs to health and harvesting speed that are disabled when playing in a group, making the “lone wolf” life much more viable.

  • Unleash the Horde! Marvel Rivals Drops the Game-Changing Zombie Mode!

Unleash the Horde! Marvel Rivals Drops the Game-Changing Zombie Mode!

Get ready to swap your standard team fights for a terrifying fight for survival! The world of Marvel Rivals is about to be utterly transformed with the introduction of its very first player-versus-enemy (PvE) mode: Marvel Zombies Mode!

Timed perfectly for the spooky season, this isn’t just a simple event—it’s a massive, co-op, horde-survival experience that’s shaking up the hero shooter’s core formula. Here is everything you need to know about the new nightmare that just arrived in Midtown!

? What is Marvel Zombies Mode?

In a thrilling collaboration with Marvel Animation (which produced the excellent Marvel Zombies Disney+ series), NetEase Games has unleashed a terrifying PVE experience. Up until now, Marvel Rivals has been purely a 6v6 PvP team shooter, but this new mode throws the rulebook out the window.

Marvel Zombies Mode pits a team of four heroes against endless waves of the infected. Your primary objective is survival, completing set objectives, and ultimately going toe-to-toe with terrifying infected bosses.

? Who is Ready to Fight the Undead?

You won’t be able to pick from the full roster in this mode, as only a select few heroes are ready for the apocalyptic challenge. The current roster of zombie-slayers includes:

    • Thor
    • Blade
    • Magik
    • The Punisher
    • Jeff the Shark

Crucially, these heroes aren’t just copy-pasted from PvP. They’ve been granted unique, mode-specific abilities to handle the hordes. Imagine charging through a swarm as Jeff the Shark, or using Blade’s bouncing Moon Blades for massive area-of-effect damage. Magik, for instance, can access her unlimited Darkchild form—a genuine powerhouse against the undead!

    ? Progression and Challenge

This mode isn’t a one-and-done deal. As you survive rounds and complete missions, you’ll earn progression that allows you to unlock powerful buffs called “Khonshu’s Blessings.” This creates a loadout system, letting you customise your hero with unique Traits and ability changes to build the ultimate zombie-killing machine.

And if the base difficulty isn’t enough to make your super-senses tingle, there are up to seven difficulty levels to climb, guaranteeing a brutal challenge for even the most coordinated teams.

    ? Boss Fights and Rewards

A zombie horde is one thing, but zombified superheroes are a whole other level of terror. Players will face off against devastating bosses, including Zombie Namor and the elusive Queen of the Dead (who appears to be an infected Scarlet Witch). These encounters will demand perfect teamwork and execution of your new abilities.

Beyond the thrill of survival, there are fantastic rewards to chase, including new zombie-themed hero skins for characters like Blade, Spider-Man, and Scarlet Witch.

    ?? Get Into the Fight!

The Marvel Zombies mode launched on October 23rd, just in time to celebrate Halloween!

If you’ve been looking for a break from the competitive grind or just want to experience a truly unique Marvel Rivals gameplay loop, this is your chance. Grab your squad, choose your champion, and prepare to hold the line against the infected.

  • Escaping Duckov: A Feathered Frenzy of Fun!

Escaping Duckov: A Feathered Frenzy of Fun!

For those of us who grew up in the golden era of pixelated adventures and keyboard-mashing triumphs, there’s a new retro-inspired gem that’s been making waves in the indie gaming scene: Escape From Duckov. And let me tell you, it’s an absolute quacking good time!

From the moment you hit “Start Game,” you’re plunged into a wonderfully nostalgic world. The game’s 8-bit aesthetic is more than just a stylistic choice; it’s a love letter to the classics. Think early NES or Commodore 64, but with a surprising amount of detail packed into every pixel. The chiptune soundtrack is equally impressive, perfectly capturing the frantic energy of your feathered protagonist’s predicament. You’ll be humming these tunes long after you’ve put down the controller (or keyboard, as the case may be!).

But what exactly is Escape From Duckov all about? Well, the premise is simple yet utterly charming: you’re a plucky duck named Quackers, and you’ve found yourself trapped in the dreaded “Duckov” facility. Why are you there? What nefarious experiments are being conducted? The game doesn’t dwell on the specifics, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. Your only goal is to escape, and a thrilling journey it is.

The gameplay itself is a delightful blend of platforming, puzzle-solving, and surprisingly engaging combat. Quackers isn’t just a pretty face; he’s nimble, quick, and can unleash a surprisingly potent “quack attack” on unsuspecting enemies. You’ll be navigating intricate levels filled with moving platforms, deadly traps, and a variety of quirky foes, from robotic geese to laser-shooting otters. Each level feels uniquely designed, offering new challenges and creative solutions. The learning curve is perfectly balanced – easy to pick up, but increasingly challenging to master, ensuring you’re always engaged without feeling overwhelmed.

One of the standout features of Escape From Duckov is its humour. The dialogue (what little there is) is witty, the enemy designs are delightfully absurd, and even Quackers’ animations are full of character. There’s a lightheartedness that permeates the entire experience, making even frustrating moments feel more like a humorous challenge than a genuine setback.

The game also boasts a surprising amount of replayability. Hidden secrets, unlockable characters with unique abilities, and speedrunning potential mean you’ll be returning to Duckov long after your initial escape. And for those who love a good challenge, the later levels and boss battles will truly test your reflexes and strategic thinking.

Escape From Duckov isn’t just a nostalgia trip; it’s a genuinely well-crafted and incredibly fun game in its own right. It perfectly encapsulates what makes retro gaming so appealing, while adding its own fresh and charming spin. If you’re looking for a delightful adventure that will bring a smile to your face and a challenge to your thumbs, then do yourself a favour and dive into the world of Duckov. You won’t regret it!

  • Take to the Skies in Your Living Room! Why House Fighters: Total Mess is the Arcade Shooter You Need

Take to the Skies in Your Living Room! Why House Fighters: Total Mess is the Arcade Shooter You Need

Take to the Skies in Your Living Room! Why House Fighters: Total Mess is the Arcade Shooter You Need

Remember those childhood moments, clutching a toy plane and zooming it through the furniture, imagining epic dogfights above the carpet? Revulo Games is bringing that delightful, larger-than-life fantasy to life with House Fighters: Total Mess, a vibrant PvE aerial arcade shooter. Get ready to shrink down, hop into the cockpit, and save the day—all within the cosy confines of a seemingly ordinary house.

    A World That’s Suddenly Huge

The core charm of House Fighters: Total Mess lies in its setting: everyday household spaces transformed into massive battle arenas. Players take on the role of Lieutenant Green, a hopeful pilot cadet flying a toy plane. Imagine weaving under towering lamps, looping around massive bookshelves, and zipping through bannister railings from the bedroom to the kitchen.

This shift in perspective delivers an incredible sense of scale and nostalgia. The familiar becomes fantastical, offering a fresh, playful take on the arcade shooter genre. Every room presents a new, unique environment to master, full of giant obstacles and tactical opportunities.

    Fast-Paced Fun and Accessible Combat

If you’re looking for a game that nails the “easy to pick up, fun to master” arcade feel, this is it. While the game features traditional inverted flight mechanics (with options for keybinding), the combat controls are designed to be intuitive and fluid.

You’ll engage in fast-paced dogfights against enemy toy planes, utilising a mix of primary and secondary weapon fire. But the real fun comes from making use of the environment. Scavenge for everyday items that become your wacky arsenal: rockets, bombs, and even nails that you can fire away at your foes! Completing missions often involves more than just shooting down enemies; you might be tasked with helping a dollhouse throw a birthday party or assisting local block builders—all through aerial action.

    A Narrative-Driven Toy Story

House Fighters: Total Mess isn’t just about endless combat. It features 13 total narrative-driven missions where you lend a helping hand to a whimsical cast of toys in need. This campaign structure provides context and motivation for your daring flights, making your success feel like a true heroic effort to save your neighbourhood of miniature friends from certain doom.

    Customisation is Key

As you progress and prove your mettle as a pilot, you’ll unlock a variety of aircraft types, each with its own distinct stats for engine efficiency, weight, and hull. Even better, you can personalise your toy fighter to match your style. Unlock wacky stickers, different paint jobs, and multiple colour options to create the perfect custom jet.

    Ready for Takeoff?

House Fighters: Total Mess is a delightful blend of action, nostalgia, and lighthearted chaos. It promises a unique arcade experience that is perfect for players of all ages looking for a dose of feel-good aerial adventure.

The game is developed by Revulo Games and is set to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch soon! Keep an eye out for Lieutenant Green’s call—your living room dogfight awaits!
