    What’s New in the ‘Songs of Thieves’ Update?

    This free update is packed to the brim with community-requested features, fresh mechanics, and a brand-new enemy faction that will completely alter your run strategies.

    • The Thieves Faction Arrives: Reverie is being ambushed by three new types of agile foes—the Brigand (melee), the Marksman (ranged), and the lethal Assassin (elite).
    • Thieves’ Stashes & Secret Rooms: Scattered across Dark Hills, Storm Island, and Avalon, you’ll discover hidden hideouts containing four distinct room types. Take on trap-filled Combat rooms, load your pockets in Treasure rooms, challenge yourself in Cursed rooms, or use the spooky Magic Mirror room to duplicate your favourite items.
    • Unlock Powerful Melodies: Keep an eye out for Magical Harps. Gathering musical notes allows you to recompose up to 12 distinct Melodies, applying massive, run-wide buffs to your entire party—like the Tortoise Melody for a 20% speed boost or the Long John Silver Melody to reveal map markers.
    • Watch out for Stingy Jack: This sneaky new nuisance will literally rob chests right in front of you and bolt. Chase him down and smack him to reclaim your stolen Dream Shards and Magical Objects!
    • The Long-Awaited Multiplayer Pause: Finally! You can now pause the game during co-op matches to sort your inventory, check the map, or just take a quick breather without getting wiped out.

    Premium Style: The Mercenaries Skin Pack

    Alongside the free gameplay content, Passtech Games has also rolled out the Mercenaries Skin Pack for £3.49 / $3.99. If you want to give your heroes a rugged new look, this premium DLC introduces gorgeous new outfits with altered 3D models and special visual effects—including a rogue-themed Snow Queen and a plague-doctor-inspired Pied Piper.
