PixARK: Terracrypt is officially on the horizon, promising to flip the colourful voxel world completely on its head by sending players beneath the surface.

If you thought you had mastered the surface of PixARK, Terracrypt is here to challenge everything you know. The expansion is set entirely within a massive, sprawling underground ruin.

Instead of just rocky caverns, players will have to survive and adapt to 12 unique new subterranean biomes. Snail Games is teasing that these environments are packed with “strange new wonders,” which likely means brand-new flora, rare resources, dangerous environmental hazards, and—of course—a whole new ecosystem of creatures to tame or fight.

Steam First, Consoles Close Behind

PC players won’t have to wait long to dive into the deep. PixARK: Terracrypt is launching first on Steam.

But don’t worry if you play on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch. Snail Games has confirmed that a full console rollout is scheduled to follow in the months after the PC release. Even better? They are actively targeting platform parity, meaning console players will get the exact same content, updates, and features as their PC counterparts.
