Teyvat is bracing for its most perilous chapter yet! Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse has officially announced that Genshin Impact Version 7.1, titled “A Rekviem for the Underworld,” will launch on September 23.

With the situation in Snezhnaya growing increasingly dire, the nation is drawing up a bold new plan to stand against the Heavenly Principles once and for all. Adding to the tension, the growing threat of Ronova, the Ruler of Death, is setting the stage for an inevitable, explosive showdown that travellers won’t want to miss.

New 5-Star Characters: Vesna & Vodyanitsa

Version 7.1 isn’t just bringing high-stakes lore—it’s also expanding your combat tactical toolkit. Two brand-new 5-star playable characters, Vesna and Vodyanitsa, are making their debut in the event wishes. Both heroes introduce exciting new mechanics designed to enhance Stellar Swirl elemental reactions, opening up fresh team compositions and strategies for endgame challenges like the Spiral Abyss.

Journey to Snezhnaya: Genshin Impact Version 7.0 “Everwinter Without Mercy” Launches August 12

Genshin Impact fans, the moment we have all been waiting for is finally around the corner. Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse has officially announced that Genshin Impact Version 7.0, titled “Everwinter Without Mercy,” will launch on August 12.

This major update marks a monumental milestone for the game: for the very first time, Travellers can set foot into Snezhnaya, the seventh and final major nation of Teyvat.

All Aboard for the Frozen Frontier

Snezhnaya is notorious throughout Teyvat for its bitter cold, technological innovation, and formidable political influence. In Version 7.0, players won’t just be walking through the snow—they will be able to board a specialised train to traverse this vast and mysterious frozen landscape.

This new mode of transportation offers an immersive way to explore expansive wildernesses, industrial hubs, and snow-draped towns tucked away in the frost.

    High Stakes & Unveiled Factions

The new Archon Quest promises to push Teyvat’s overarching narrative into overdrive. As Travellers venture deeper into the territory of the Cryo Archon (the Tsaritsa) and the Fatui, the storyline will further expose the intricate relationships, secret alliances, and escalating tensions between Teyvat’s dominant factions. Expect major revelations as long-standing mysteries begin to unravel.

    New Characters: Odette & Alyosha

No major region update is complete without expanding the playable roster. Version 7.0 introduces two brand-new characters to join your team:

    • Odette: A compelling new figure hailing from the icy northern realm, bringing unique combat abilities tailored to the harsh environment.
    • Alyosha: A key ally in Snezhnaya whose backstory ties directly into the nation’s rich local history and factional dynamics.
