TEAM42, the Seoul-based creators behind the hit Mafia42, have confirmed that their charming casual MMORPG World of Slime will feature in Steam Next Fest, running October 19–26, 2026 — and they’ve packed a massive demo update just in time for the event!
From August Debut to Next Fest Spectacular
The World of Slime demo first arrived on Steam back in August, giving players a taste of creature-collecting, slime synthesis, and relaxed exploration. Now, TEAM42 has rolled out a major update that expands the experience with plenty of new content for returning players and newcomers alike.

Noecheon Village — A Whole New Region
Step into Noecheon Village, a brand-new area inspired by traditional Korean architecture and culture. Nestled beneath Noecheon Mountain — where lightning strikes frequently — this scenic village comes complete with its own cast of NPCs, fresh quests, and a unique atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else in the game.
New Slimes, New Combinations
The stormy slopes around Noecheon Mountain are home to Electric-type and Wind-type slimes — introducing entirely new creatures to capture, collect, and synthesise. Mix and match these with existing slimes to unlock rare variants and discover creative new combinations — all without gacha mechanics!
