Developed by UK-based solo developer JuhrJuhr (the developer behind Deep Space Exploitation and Directory Dungeon), Terminal Reign is an upcoming diegetic interface simulator that plunges players into the command desk of a remote-operated, heavily armoured war machine.
A Crumbling Galactic Order
The premise sets a bleak, atmospheric tone: A vast, millennia-old empire is slowly collapsing. At its centre sits a half-deranged emperor whose multi-century reign is unravelling as aggressive neighbouring kingdoms push against its borders.
Desperate to hold onto power, the regime presses everyday citizens into servitude. Your task? Operate the empire’s decaying arsenal of remote-controlled armoured vehicles to defend its borders and carry out the arbitrary, lethal whims of its ruling class.
Tactile Controls and High-Stakes Simulation
Unlike traditional action games where you directly control a vehicle from a third-person camera or sleek modern HUD, Terminal Reign grounds its experience in immersion. You sit in front of a physical command desk constructed from retro modules, switches, screens, and physical documentation.
