    The Rat King Steps Into the Shadows

    While the Turtles have spent countless runs battling Shredder and the Foot Clan to rescue Master Splinter, a far more terrifying endgame boss has taken centre stage: The Rat King.

    This fight isn’t for greenhorns. The encounter only unlocks once you’ve proven your mettle by beating Shredder multiple times and successfully rescuing Master Splinter.

    Once you face the Rat King, prepare for a gruelling test of skill:

    • Fear & Swarm Tactics: He overpowers foes using psychological fear mechanics and aggressive rat swarms.
    • Boss Summons: In an intimidating display of power, the Rat King can summon other defeated bosses to fight by his side during the battle.
    • The Final Chapter: Overcoming this ultimate endgame threat unlocks the official final ending to the Splintered Fate storyline.

    Slash Joins the Roster

    Alongside the free update, players can pick up the new paid Slash Character DLC. Defeating Leatherhead lets you recruit this fan-favourite brute ally to the playable lineup, bringing the total hero roster to eight!

    • Raw Power over Speed: Slash trades quickness for sheer physical fortitude, utilising massive claws, body slams, and heavy knockback abilities to control crowd movement.
    • Enraged Mode: Activating his Enraged state gives Slash a temporary surge of speed and massive bonus damage.
    • Dark Damage Tool: Unleash a meteor-like strike that devastates packed groups of Foot Clan ninjas.

    Samurai Armour & The Platinum Bundle

    Want to slay mutated baddies in style? The update introduces a fresh paid Samurai Armour Pack, giving the original four brothers (and DLC fighters) an intimidating warrior makeover inspired by feudal legend.

    For players looking to snag every single piece of content released so far, the developers have also launched the Platinum Bundle. This all-in-one package includes:

    Pizza and brawling sounds a bit like a Saturday night out, but this is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredders Revenge game with the Dimension Shellshock DLC for the Nintendo Switch. Travel through different dimensions and collect as many crystals as you can to upgrade your character in order to fight off Shredder and his pals.

    There might be a bit of time to wait for this DLC as it looks like it’s coming later in the year, but that does not mean that we cannot talk about it. Fighting Shredder and his gang is hard enough, but travelling through different dimensions at the same time offers the gamer even more levels of difficulty, you will need plenty of pizza for energy to get through this, it’s a tough job!
