The Plot: A Quest for Digital Revenge
The story follows a protagonist who has lost their “favourite” VTuber—Maria Tenno—to a mysterious killer who has now stolen her identity. To catch the culprit, you must enter the world of VTubing yourself.
By climbing the ranks of the elite VTuber production company SUIT, you aim to reach the same level as the imposter. Your ultimate goal is to invite the “fake” Maria Tenno to an offline collaboration and exact your revenge. The game features 13 top-ranked members of SUIT, one of whom is the killer.
Gameplay Mechanics: Stream & Stack
The core gameplay is described as a “Stream & Stack” experience. Unlike traditional visual novels, you interact with the game through a simulated desktop interface:
- Stream Battles: During livestreams, you must manage a chaotic flow of viewer comments. While fans provide support, “haters” appear as enemies trying to shut down your stream.
- Dice & Talk Decks: You defend your stream using Dice (representing stream skills) and Talk Decks (your strategic “trump cards”) to intercept attacks and keep the broadcast alive.
- Social Simulation: Between streams, you can chat with other members of the group, send stamps, and arrange collaborations. These interactions provide crucial clues to the killer’s identity.
- Branching Narrative: With over 16 different endings, the story changes based on how you grow as a streamer, the “clips” generated from your highlights, and the relationships you build with your peers.
