While technically a “threequel” to Super Mario Land, this game threw Mario to the wayside and established Wario as a greedy, shoulder-bashing antihero. Technically two incredible games in one cartridge, this GBA relic features gorgeous spritework and perfectly refined puzzle gameplay. On one hand, you get the vitamin-dropping, virus-busting chaos of Dr. Mario. On the other hand, you get the frantic, block-swapping intensity of Puzzle League (perfectly optimised for handheld play). Consider this a public health warning: your battery life will suffer because of this drop.
