    The masters of the “weird but wonderful” are back. Doinksoft, the creative minds behind the monochrome charm of Gato Roboto and the gritty, umbrella-shooting action of Gunbrella, have officially set a date for their next venture into pixel-perfect chaos.

    Alongside “button-mashing” publisher Devolver Digital, they’ve revealed that Dark Scrolls will launch on May 28, 2026, for both PC and Nintendo Switch.

    What is Dark Scrolls?

    Dark Scrolls is described as a fantasy-themed action platformer that blends the bullet-hell intensity of a “shmup” with the addictive “just one more go” loop of a roguelite. If you’ve played a Doinksoft title before, you know to expect crunchy pixel art, satisfying sound design, and a healthy dose of the bizarre.
