Bithell Games, renowned for its critically acclaimed smash hits. Thomas Was Alone, The Solitaire Conspiracy and John Wick Hex; today announce their next game titled Arcsmith is heading to Oculus Quest headsets in July.
Arcsmith sees you taking up tools as a space engineer; also known as an Arcsmith. Following in the footsteps of your reluctant master teacher Korith Dinn; you’ll be tasked with constructing a multitude of space-based items and machinery. Utilizing Oculus’ intuitive Touch controllers, you’ll fit together pieces to match the spec in your own time and in your own way, as all the items you’ll create feature a modular design meaning no two inventions are created the same.
Backed by a soundtrack written by Dan Le Sac & Sarah Williams White, you’ll not only observe how Dinn and his robotic companion Toolie co-exist but also watch an intriguing intergalactic space struggle play out before your very eyes.
“It’s been exciting developing a spatial puzzle game for virtual reality,” said Nic Tringali, Game Director for Arcsmith at Bithell Games. “We’ve given players a variety of tools at their workbench to design and diagnose their creations, and VR gives us a unique way to present a game with an open-ended puzzle design.”
Arcsmith comes to Oculus Quest 1 & 2 headsets on July 29th for £18.99 / $24.99 / €24,99. Oculus users can Wishlist Arcsmith at this link.
