Submerge continues to overfund on Indiegogo by 1000% with their fully submersible wallet and cardholder On June 21 2021, Submerge launched their latest everyday carry, a uniquely designed wallet that offers complete security and protection for your valuables.
Created in over a year by an award-winning startup and Ted speaker from the UK, the Submerge are an alternative to traditional wallets and cardholders that aren’t designed to be carried in the ocean or exposed to the elements. Both products are vegan and made from sustainable materials.
“I saw far too many people having the same issue that I did, a complete unawareness of where to put their cash, cards and keys when they got into the water!” explained Ronan Finnegan – Founder at Submerge. “Sick of soggy wallets and sandy credit cards, I wanted to find a solution, as I was fed up with hiding my valuables in the sand every time I wanted to surf.”
Featuring 100% IP-X8 rated waterproof quality, the wallet can be submerged underwater up to 3m. There is a quick-drying outer layer that allows you to stash it right away after use and has a silky-smooth feel that glides through the water. With fully detachable and adjustable velcro straps, there are two hidden pockets for storage and three sections to hold up to eight cards with an RFID blocker card integrated.
The Submerge wallet’s differentiating factor is its external shell. It has a compact TPU pouch (measuring 4?? x 5??), with an airtight, waterproof zipper and heat-sealed seams.
There are two options for securing: either a carabiner or an elastic velcro strap, helping to keep it tight to the user’s body. Worn on the arm or thigh over a wetsuit, it looks discreet and low-profile.
