    High Stakes, 10-Second Hot Potato

    Too Hot To Hold takes the classic playground game of hot potato and dials the panic up to eleven. Players step into the tiny shoes of Tricksters, whose primary goal is to keep a burning object known as the Ember alive for five minutes.

    The catch? A Trickster can only hold the scorching Ember for 10 seconds before it explodes in their hands, instantly ending their run. To survive, you must pass it to another player, hurl it across the room, or desperately hunt down that one teammate who is actively running away from you.

    Enter the Wardens

    Passing a deadly burning rock around wouldn’t be complete without a bit of asymmetrical warfare. Ten seconds after a round begins, the Wardens enter the hunt.

    Armed with guns, scanners, traps, and unique tactical abilities, Wardens aren’t actually looking to eliminate the Tricksters. Instead, their objective is to target and destroy the Ember itself before the five-minute clock runs out.

    This creates a chaotic cat-and-mouse dynamic where Tricksters must dodge armed pursuers while simultaneously juggling an exploding hot potato between each other.

    Dirty Tactics and Giant Maps

    To keep every round unpredictable, Too Hot To Hold lets players customise their loadouts with a hilarious array of abilities:

    • Tricksters can fight dirty to survive—using grapple hooks to escape, throwing mud, laying down banana peels and tripwires, blinding Wardens with smoke screens, or even farting directly in someone’s face to create a quick getaway.
