    From Continental Rivalries to the World Stage

    The new story trailer, which dropped alongside the announcement, sets the stage for Tsubasa Ozora’s most ambitious journey yet: the World Youth Championship.

    Players will guide Japan through gruelling qualifying rounds against powerhouse regional rivals like Thailand, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, and China. Should you survive the qualifiers, the world stage beckons, featuring legendary encounters against giants like Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Sweden.

    What’s New in World Fighters?

    Bandai Namco isn’t just rehashing the old playbook. World Fighters introduces several gameplay evolutions:

    • Massive Roster: Over 110 playable characters and 22 national teams.
    • Tactical Duels: A brand-new “Goalkeeper vs. Shooter” system makes blocking shots more strategic, allowing players to counter jaw-dropping super shots with meticulous timing.
