    I’ve been diving into Nocturnal 2, and the hand-drawn animation is absolutely breathtaking. There is nothing more satisfying than the “Fire Starter” mechanic—striking a torch to imbue your blade with light and slicing through the gloom of Yran.

    If you loved the first game’s challenge but wanted more exploration and non-linear paths, this is it. The world feels bigger, the shadows feel darker, and the combat is tighter than ever.
