  • Atomic Owl! A Tale of Feathers and Fury

Atomic Owl! A Tale of Feathers and Fury

In Atomic Owl, you step into the talons of Hidalgo Bladewing. After a devastating defeat at the hands of the vengeful void crow, Omega Wing, Hidalgo’s troupe has been captured. Two years later, he’s back with a grudge and a “Mezameta” blade—a sentient, brash-talking sword that provides as much commentary as it does combat prowess.

The game is a love letter to the 16-bit era, blending the precision platforming of Mega Man X with the modern roguelite progression of Dead Cells.

What’s New for the Console Release?

This isn’t just a straight port; the console launch introduces the Definitive Version of the game. If you found the original PC version’s roguelite mechanics a bit too punishing, there’s a major addition for you:

“NO ROGUELITE” Mode: You can now play the game as a classic, linear side-scrolling action platformer. No more restarting from the hub—just pure, old-school stage progression.

Rebalanced Combat: Weapons have been tweaked for better flow, and the sound design has been polished to make every hit feel even punchier.

Cross-Buy & Play Anywhere: The Xbox version supports Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning one purchase gets you the game on both console and Windows PC via the Microsoft Store.

    Key Features to Watch For

8 Roguelite Zones: From neon-lit urban sprawls to vine-choked ruins in the world of Judanest.

Dynamic Weaponry: Don’t just stick to the sword. You can swap between hammers, whips, and scythes to deal with the menacing Tengu hordes.

The Void Crow: When things get dire, Hidalgo can transform into a powerful Void Crow to clear the screen in a whirlwind of dark fury.

Stunning Aesthetics: The pixel art is vibrant and expressive, backed by a soundtrack that perfectly bridges the gap between JRPG melodies and 80s synthwave.

    Launch Details

Atomic Owl will be available digitally for $12.99 / €12.99. Keep an eye out during launch week, as eastasiasoft is offering a 10% discount on select platforms to celebrate the release.

If you’re a physical collector, keep your eyes peeled; limited physical editions for Switch and PS5 (complete with manuals and “challenge cards”) have been teased for those who prefer their owls on a shelf.

  • Halftone Unleashes Chaos with First Official Trailer for ‘Too Many F*cking Nazis’

Halftone Unleashes Chaos with First Official Trailer for ‘Too Many F*cking Nazis’

If the title alone wasn’t enough to grab your attention, the gameplay certainly will. Halftone Gaming has officially pulled back the curtain on their latest project, dropping the first announcement trailer for the unapologetically loud and violent Too Many F*cking Nazis.

After a tech test clip went viral on Reddit last year, fans have been hungry to see what this punk-inspired shooter actually looks like in motion. Today, we finally have our answer: it’s fast, it’s foul-mouthed, and it looks like a hell of a lot of fun.

What is ‘Too Many F*cking Nazis’?

Described by the developers as a “boomer shooter with roguelite elements,” the game doesn’t exactly hide its premise. You play as a lone operative tasked with cleaning up a world overrun by time-travelling Nazis that nobody else seems to care about.

The trailer showcases a high-octane blend of “movement tech” and chaotic gunplay. Think DOOM Eternal meets the aesthetic of a basement punk show. Here’s what we know so far:

Fast-Paced Combat: The focus is on aggressive, high-speed movement and “inventive weapons.”

Roguelite Depth: No two runs are the same. You’ll be experimenting with game-changing builds and unconventional synergies to survive the horde.

Punk Attitude: From the soundtrack to the UI, the game drips with a bold, DIY aesthetic.

Platforms: The game is currently confirmed for Windows (Steam) and is being built with Steam Deck support in mind.

    Why the Buzz?

Beyond the provocative title—which Halftone admits is a bit of a middle finger to modern trends—the game is riding a wave of nostalgia for “boomer shooters” (retro-style FPS games). However, by adding modern roguelite progression, Halftone is looking to offer more replayability than your standard retro-clone.

The community response has already been electric. Early reactions on Steam and social media point to the “inventive synergies” as a major draw, allowing players to create some truly broken (and hilarious) weapon combinations.

“We are so pumped to let the cat out of the bag and start talking about this,” the developers shared on their Steam page. “Watch the trailer, wishlist the game, and get ready to tear through some Nazis with style.”

    Release Date?

While there’s no firm release date yet, the game is listed as “Coming Soon” on Steam. Given the polished state of the announcement trailer, we’re hoping for a late 2026 release or at least an early access period.

  • Everbloom Games Reveals Release Date for MMO-Inspired Roguelite ‘Nullpoint Protocol’

Everbloom Games Reveals Release Date for MMO-Inspired Roguelite ‘Nullpoint Protocol’

The wait for “bite-sized raids” is almost over. Everbloom Games has officially confirmed that their highly anticipated 1-4 player co-op roguelite, Nullpoint Protocol, will launch on Steam on 6th April 2026.

Known primarily for their massive success in the Minecraft Marketplace—where they’ve collaborated with titans like Disney, Universal, and Dungeons & Dragons—Everbloom is finally stepping out of the blocks and into the indie spotlight with their first fully original title.

    MMO Raids Without the Grind

The core philosophy behind Nullpoint Protocol is simple: capture the mechanical intensity of high-level MMORPG raids (think Final Fantasy XIV) and condense them into an approachable, fast-paced roguelite format.

Instead of spending weeks grinding for gear just to see a boss, you and up to three friends can jump straight into the chaos.

    Key Game Features:

1-4 Player Co-op: Whether you’re braving the void solo or with a full squad, the difficulty dynamically scales to ensure the challenge remains “fair but punishing.”

MMO-Style Bosses: Prepare for “Void Shepherds”—colossal entities with complex, bullet-hell-style attack patterns that require precise positioning and pattern recognition to defeat.

Total Build Freedom: Eschewing traditional classes, the game allows you to craft your own skillset from randomised loot. You can mix meteor strikes, turrets, and healing abilities to create a build that fits your specific playstyle.

Dynamic Runs: Mystery events and randomised upgrades mean no two runs—or boss fights—will ever be the same.

    From Minecraft to Millions

Everbloom’s journey is a fascinating one. Founded in 2016 by a group of friends who met online, the studio has spent nearly a decade perfecting the art of user-generated content (UGC). After selling millions of copies of their Minecraft DLC, the team of 12 developers decided to “jump ship” to full-scale indie development.

“Minecraft gave us a great foundation, but we outgrew it,” says co-founder Tom van Berkel. “Nullpoint Protocol is us fully stepping into our own.”

The game has been developed using the Godot engine, marking a significant technical leap for the team as they move into original 3D action-RPG territory.

    Ready to Face the Void?

If you can’t wait until April 6th, there is a playable demo currently available on Steam. It features three raid-style boss encounters and 29 different player abilities to experiment with, supporting both online and local “couch” co-op.

Nullpoint Protocol is shaping up to be a must-play for fans of Rabbit and Steel or anyone who loves the thrill of a boss rush but lacks the time for a second job in an MMO.

  • Action Roguelite Royal Revolt Survivors Is Out Now

Action Roguelite Royal Revolt Survivors Is Out Now

Royal Revolt Survivors has officially shed its Early Access cape and launched its 1.0 version on PC, while simultaneously making its grand debut on home consoles.

For the team at Headup and developer Team Warriors, this isn’t just a full release; it’s a historic moment as the game becomes the publisher’s first-ever title to land on the Nintendo Switch 2.

From Mobile Strategy to Roguelite Mayhem

Long-time fans of the Royal Revolt franchise will remember the series for its polished “reverse tower defence” gameplay on mobile. However, Survivors takes the IP in a frantic new direction. Taking a leaf out of the book of genre-defining titles like Vampire Survivors, this entry swaps slow-burn strategy for high-octane, top-down “survivor-style” combat.

The premise is simple but addictive: you are a hero of the realm, and you are vastly outnumbered. You’ll need to navigate handcrafted arenas, dodging hundreds of relentless enemies while your character automatically unleashes a barrage of steel and magic.

    Key Features at 1.0 Launch:

    • All-Star Roster: Play as fan-favourite heroes from the Royal Revolt universe, each sporting unique abilities and progression paths.
    • 1-4 Player Co-op: While solo play is intense, the game truly shines in co-op. You can team up with up to three friends (locally or online) to coordinate builds and survive the screen-filling chaos.
    • Deep Customisation: With hundreds of weapon and trinket combinations, no two runs feel identical.
    • Epic Boss Encounters: Every run culminates in high-stakes battles against massive bosses that test your build’s efficiency.

    Where to Play

The 1.0 launch covers almost every major platform, ensuring no knight is left behind. You can pick it up today on:

    • PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG)
    • PlayStation 5
    • Xbox Series X|S
    • Nintendo Switch 2

On the Xbox Store, the game is currently listed at a competitive £8.39, making it an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a “just one more run” fix.

    The TechMash Verdict

While the “Survivors-like” genre is becoming increasingly crowded, Royal Revolt Survivors stands out with its high production value and the inclusion of genuine co-op play—a feature often missing from its peers. The transition from mobile spin-off to a fully-fledged console title feels earned, especially after six months of refinement in Early Access.

If you’re a fan of the franchise or just need a new game to play with your squad this weekend, the revolt has officially begun.

  • Wield The Beat Alpha Nomos Demo Out Now on Steam

Wield The Beat Alpha Nomos Demo Out Now on Steam

Wielding a sword is one thing, but wielding a melody? That’s a whole different tempo.

RibCage Games has officially dropped the demo for Alpha Nomos, a rhythm-action roguelite that looks like the neon-soaked lovechild of Hi-Fi Rush and BPM: Bullets Per Minute. If you’ve been looking for a reason to put your internal metronome to the test, this might just be your next obsession.

The Beat is Your Best Friend

In Alpha Nomos, you step into the boots of Cello, a protagonist trapped in a vibrant, melody-twisted world. But you aren’t just fighting rogue puppets; you’re performing. The game’s core mechanic revolves around “wielding the beat.” Every slash of your weapon—like the gloriously named SaXword—pulses to the soundtrack.

Timing your moves to the beat isn’t just for style points; it’s essential for survival. Landing strikes on the rhythm unleashes show-stopping combos and deals massive damage, turning every encounter into a perfectly choreographed dance of chaos.

    Roguelite Rhythms

What sets Alpha Nomos apart from your standard rhythm game is its roguelite depth. As you progress through the demo, you’ll encounter musical powerups that do more than just buff your stats—they actually change how your weapons sound.

Custom Soundscapes: Powerups are based on real-world musical terms.

Evolving Performance: As you stack upgrades, your “song” evolves, making every run sound and feel unique.

Reactive Environment: The world itself is “music-reactive,” with obstacles and enemies moving in sync with the current track.

    How to Play

The demo is currently available on Steam, giving players a taste of the tutorial and the opening levels. It’s a great chance to get a feel for the “SaXword” and the game’s unique hybrid of hack-and-slash combat and rhythmic precision.

Developer Pro-Tip: While you can play on a keyboard, RibCage Games strongly recommends using a controller to truly feel the groove.

The full game is slated for a 2026 release, but with the demo out now, there’s no reason to wait to start your performance.

  • Action-roguelite Vespera Bononia Unleashed is OUT NOW!

Action-roguelite Vespera Bononia Unleashed is OUT NOW!

The wait is finally over for fans of gothic atmosphere and high-octane action. Power Up Team has officially unleashed Vespera Bononia on Steam, inviting players to survive a nightmarish reimagining of medieval Bologna.

If you’ve been looking for a roguelite that blends technical third-person combat with the eerie aesthetic of Italian folklore, this is one launch you shouldn’t miss.

    A Cursed City Reimagined

Vespera Bononia isn’t just a fantasy world; it’s a “dark digital twin” of the historic city of Bologna. The developers have used real-world architectural scans and references to transform iconic landmarks—from the Basilica of Santa Maria dei Servi to the city’s famous towers and underground catacombs—into a shifting, arcane labyrinth.

The result is an atmospheric masterclass where the familiar becomes frightening. You’ll navigate four distinct biomes, each teeming with grotesque enemies inspired by Ulisse Aldrovandi’s Monstrorum Historia (the famous 17th-century “Book of Monsters”).

    Four Characters, One Shared Soul

The game’s standout mechanic is its Soul-Catalyst system. Rather than being locked into one playstyle, your soul is shared across four distinct characters, each with unique magical abilities and weapon synergies.

Real-Time Swapping: You can switch between classes mid-combat to adapt to emerging threats.

Deep Build Customisation: Collect relics and effigies during each run to refine your powers.

Frenetic Combat: Expect a brutal mix of third-person shooting, dodging, and bullet-hell encounters.

Available Now with a Launch Discount

To celebrate the release, Vespera Bononia is available on Steam for $9.99 / £8.50, and early adopters can snag a 10% launch discount for a limited time.

Whether you’re a veteran of the roguelite genre or a sucker for a well-realised gothic setting, the streets of Bononia are calling. Just remember: in this city, every defeat is simply a step deeper into the mystery.

“Master the blend of magic and bullet-hell to survive the fast-paced, ever-changing chaos that grips the streets. Face your destiny in Bononia.”

  • The Countdown is On: Forge Your Fate in ‘Valor of Man’ This March

The Countdown is On: Forge Your Fate in ‘Valor of Man’ This March

If you’ve been scouring Steam for your next tactical obsession, keep your eyes on March 19, 2026. That is the day Legacy Forge and Numskull Games officially drop Valor of Man, a dark fantasy turn-based RPG that has been generating some serious heat during recent Steam Next Fests.

Part Divinity, part Slay the Spire, and entirely brutal, this roguelite is aiming to prove that the “one more run” itch is just as strong in a party-based RPG format.

    What is Valor of Man?

Set in a realm fractured by “ruin and revelation,” you lead a party of four champions against the Perpetual Cycle. While many roguelites focus on a single protagonist, Valor of Man puts the emphasis on squad synergy. You aren’t just clicking attack; you’re orchestrating a four-person dance of death across a grid-based battlefield.

Key Features to Get Excited About:

12 Hero Classes: From the heavy-hitting Berserker to the squishy but essential mages, you’ll have a dozen distinct classes to mix and match.

The Reaction Mechanic: This is the game’s secret sauce. Every attack you make can trigger an enemy reaction, meaning positioning isn’t just about where you start your turn, but where you’ll end up after the enemy counters.

Insane Variety: The full release promises 300+ abilities, 290 items, and 170 artefacts. With procedurally generated chapters, no two runs will feel the same.

Steam Deck Ready: Great news for handheld fans—Legacy Forge has confirmed full controller support and Steam Deck optimisation for Day 1.

“A grand RPG combat loop condensed into runs you can finish in a sitting.” — Legacy Forge

Can Your Rig Handle the Valor?

Despite its deep tactical layers and refreshed 3D hero models, Valor of Man is surprisingly lean on your storage.

    The Verdict So Far

Early impressions from the February demo have been “Very Positive.” Players are praising the “reaction” system for adding a layer of chess-like strategy to the typical RPG formula. If you’re a fan of high-fantasy settings with a macabre twist, this needs to be on your wishlist.

  • New update coming to the Crypt Keeper

New update coming to the Crypt Keeper

If you’ve been busy building your skeletal legions and defending your shrine from pesky do-gooder heroes, it’s time to head back to the graveyard. Viron Games has officially dropped the ESSENCE-IAL Update for Crypt Keeper, and it’s a literal game-changer for the underground economy.

Since its launch, Crypt Keeper has carved out a niche as a refreshing blend of roguelite progression and tower defence, wrapped in a charmingly grim art style. But the new update shifts the focus from simple survival to tactical manipulation.

Harvest the Souls: The Essence System

The headline feature of this update is the introduction of Essence, a high-tier strategic resource harvested from the souls of powerful enemies. No longer are you just clearing waves; you’re farming them for the power to bend the rules of the battlefield.

To get started, you’ll need to construct the Ossuary. This new building acts as your soul-processing plant, collecting Essence from defeated “Hard” difficulty enemies. This adds a fantastic “risk vs. reward” layer—if you can handle the heat of tougher foes, the rewards are monumental.

    Buff Your Bones

What do you do with all that concentrated soul energy? You deck out your minions, of course. Essence can be spent on visual and functional gear upgrades for your skeletal units:

Armour & Helmets: Increase the survivability of your front line.

Weaponry: Sharpen those swords and strengthen those bows.

Shields: For the first time, your sword-wielding skeletons can carry shields to block incoming projectiles.

The best part? Every upgrade is visually represented, so you can see your ragtag pile of bones transform into a disciplined, gleaming undead army.

    Weaken the Waves: Spawner Manipulation

Perhaps the most “big brain” addition in the ESSENCE-IAL update is the ability to manipulate enemy spawners. Instead of just building taller walls, you can now spend Essence to sabotage the heroes before they even set foot on your grass.

You can now apply permanent (for that run) debuffs to specific spawn points:

Health Reduction: Cut enemy HP by 50%.

Slow Motion: Reduce enemy movement speed by 50%.

Damage Nerf: Siphon away 50% of their attack power.

This creates a brilliant tactical fork: do you spend your Essence making your skeletons invincible, or do you make the enemies so weak they can barely hold their swords?

    Quality of Life & Polish

Beyond the shiny new mechanics, Viron Games has tucked in several “quality of life” improvements that make the grind much smoother:

Biome Progression: Unlocking new levels and biomes is now significantly faster.

The “First Run” Buffer: New players no longer need to worry about repairing structures until after their first level-up, letting them focus on learning the ropes.

Performance Boosts: The game is snappier than ever, ensuring your hoard of 50+ skeletons doesn’t chug your frame rate.

    Final Thoughts

With a 100% positive rating on Steam early user reviews, Crypt Keeper was already on a winning streak. The ESSENCE-IAL update proves that Viron Games isn’t just sitting on a successful formula; they’re actively finding ways to make being a Necromancer more interactive and rewarding.

If you haven’t picked it up yet, you can find Crypt Keeper on Steam for £8.50 / $9.99. It’s a small price to pay for total underworld domination.

  • LoopiaLike enters Early Access with a fully playable gameplay loop

LoopiaLike enters Early Access with a fully playable gameplay loop

Get ready to dodge, weave, and absolutely vaporise thousands of enemies. If you’ve spent any time in the “Bullet Heaven” or “Survivors-like” genre recently, you know the formula: stay alive, level up, and become a screen-clearing god.

But a new contender is entering the arena on March 20, 2026, and it’s bringing some serious elemental heat. Developed by solo dev Daniel Suarez Marra, LoopiaLike is looking to bridge the gap between the addictive simplicity of Vampire Survivors and the deep build-crafting of classic ARPGs.

    What is LoopiaLike?

At its core, LoopiaLike is an explosive, fast-paced action roguelite. You step into the shoes of a powerful mage tasked with surviving relentless waves of monsters across seven distinct biomes.

While the “auto-battler” movement is the foundation, LoopiaLike distinguishes itself through its Spell Fusion System. Instead of just stacking linear upgrades, you are encouraged to experiment with 10 different magic elements.

    Key Gameplay Features:

45+ Spell Combos: By fusing elements like Fire, Ice, and Lightning, you can unlock devastating synergies that change how you play.

Character Variety: The game launches with 3 unique characters, with 7 more planned to be released for free during the Early Access period.

Strategic Depth: Will you build a “Glass Cannon” that deletes bosses in seconds, or an “Impenetrable Fortress” of orbiting shields? The choice actually matters here.

Steam Deck Ready: Built in Godot 4.6, the game is optimised for handheld play and features full controller support.

    Why “Bullet Heaven”?

For the uninitiated, “Bullet Heaven” is the inverse of a “Bullet Hell.” In a Bullet Hell, you’re dodging a screen full of enemy projectiles. In a Bullet Heaven like LoopiaLike, you are the one filling the screen with projectiles. Your goal is to manage your positioning and upgrades so effectively that the enemies can’t even get close.

“To achieve the perfect balance between challenging hordes and the satisfaction of becoming immensely powerful, we need player help testing builds and the difficulty curve.” — Loopialike Games

    Early Access and Beyond

LoopiaLike hits Steam Early Access on March 20, 2026, with a very accessible entry price of $9.99 / £8.19.

The developer has a clear roadmap leading to a full 1.0 release in June 2026. During this window, players can expect more biomes, new enemy types, and a global leaderboard to prove who the most efficient monster-slayer truly is.

If you’re looking for your next “one more run” obsession, keep an eye on this one. You can wishlist LoopiaLike on Steam now to stay updated on the launch.

  • Rebuilding the Shards: Our First Look at the Worlds Upon The Wind Playtest

Rebuilding the Shards: Our First Look at the Worlds Upon The Wind Playtest

In a gaming landscape often dominated by high-octane shooters and stressful survival sims, sometimes you just want to sit back, breathe, and build something beautiful. That is exactly the energy solo developer Max Shawabkeh is bringing to the table with Worlds Upon The Wind.

Fresh off its inclusion in the Best Indie Games Spring Showcase, a limited-time open playtest has just landed on Steam (as of March 4th, 2026). We took it for a spin to see if this “peaceful roguelite” lives up to its meditative promises.

The Premise: Apocalypse, but Make it Art

Worlds Upon The Wind imagines a world that hasn’t just ended—it’s physically shattered. You play as a guide helping survivors resettle on drifting “world shards.” Each shard is a unique floating island composed of different biomes, from cherry blossom groves to desolate ruins.

The most striking thing you’ll notice immediately is the art style. The game looks like a classical Japanese woodblock print come to life. It’s hand-painted, vibrant, and incredibly tranquil. If you’re a fan of Okami or the ukiyo-e aesthetic, you might find yourself staring at the background more than your hand of cards.

    Gameplay: Deckbuilding with a Conscience

At its heart, this is a roguelite deckbuilder, but don’t expect to be “attacking” enemies for 50 damage. Instead of combat, the gameplay focuses on:

World Restoration: You play cards to shape forests, manage resources, and develop settlements.

Narrative Dilemmas: Every shard features narrative vignettes. You’ll face moral choices that don’t have “right” answers, but rather shape the traditions and history of your civilisation across generations.

Spiritual Connections: You can befriend animal spirits and pacify restless ghosts, unlocking unique abilities that define your “build” for that run.

    The Playtest Experience

The current Steam playtest gives a generous vertical slice of the game. It feels “thinky” but never punishing. Because the game is non-violent, the “roguelite” tension comes from managing your resources efficiently and planning for the long-term survival of your community rather than worrying about a health bar.

“I wanted to create a strategy game for those who prefer to take their time and weigh their choices,” says Shawabkeh. “It’s about harmony and humanism, not just conquest.”

The meta-progression looks promising too, with skill trees and unlockable companions that ensure each “shattered” run feels like progress toward a unified world.

    Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a “Morning Coffee” kind of game—something deep enough to engage your brain but peaceful enough to start your day—Worlds Upon The Wind is definitely one to wishlist.

  • LET IT DIE: INFERNO Season 2 Hits Hell Gate on March 10th Here’s What’s Coming

LET IT DIE: INFERNO Season 2 Hits Hell Gate on March 10th Here’s What’s Coming

Prepare to descend once more, Raiders. GungHo Online Entertainment and Supertrick Games have officially pulled back the curtain on Season 2 of LET IT DIE: INFERNO, and it’s shaping up to be a blood-soaked evolution of the rogue-lite survival action we’ve come to love (and fear).

Kicking off on March 10 at 12 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. GMT, Season 2 brings a massive injection of content, including new ways to play, gear that defies logic, and a major shift for the franchise as a whole.

New Ways to Survive (and Die)

The biggest addition this season is the introduction of dedicated Solo and Duo PvE modes.

Solo Mode: Perfect for those who want to test their mettle against the “Yuckies” without the chaos of other players.

Duo Mode: Finally, you can bring a friend into the depths of Hell Gate to watch your back—or use them as a meat shield.

If you thought you knew the layout of Hell Gate, think again. Season 2 introduces shifted enemy placements, meaning your memorised routes are now obsolete. You’ll also encounter Elite enemies—identifiable by their glowing or flashing eyes—who offer a much stiffer challenge but presumably better rewards.

The New Arsenal: Trucks, Shields, and Curses
It wouldn’t be a LET IT DIE update without some truly bizarre weaponry. Season 2 introduces three standout additions:

The Dekotora: This is literally a weapon built from a truck. It features a three-level chargeable deathblow and a “Hellish Drive” sliding attack.

The Shield: More than just a defensive tool. When two-handed, its guard type shifts from High to Middle, allowing for specialized counterattacks against heavy hitters.

The Vampiric Tree: A brutal weapon that inflicts a “Curse” on deathblows. It’s designed specifically for aggressive duo follow-ups to melt through enemy health bars.

Quality of Life & System Updates

Supertrick Games has clearly been listening to player feedback. Season 2 introduces a long-requested Lock-on Targeting system, which should make the fast-paced, chaotic fights much more manageable on both PS5 and PC.

    Other notable updates include:

A New Mastery System: Permanent progression for your Raiders.

Expanded Crafting: More slots and an upgraded blueprint system.

Start Dash Event: Players who take down the final boss during the event window will snag exclusive cosmetic rewards.

The “End” of the Original LET IT DIE?

In a bittersweet twist, GungHo also announced that the original 2016 LET IT DIE is entering its final chapter. The online servers are scheduled to shut down on September 1, 2026.

However, it’s not all bad news. An Offline Version is set to launch in Fall 2026.

Save Transfers: Existing players can purchase an “Offline Patch” DLC to move their progress over.

Economy Shift: Death Metals will be discontinued in favor of Kill Coins for continues and storage.

The Wardrummer: More Than Just a Beat-Maker! Character Deep Dive

In the high-octane world of Wardrum, where every second counts and every bullet has a name, most players gravitate toward the flashiest weapons or the fastest movement abilities. But if you’ve been paying attention to the meta lately, there’s one character demanding centre stage—not with a roar, but with a rhythmic thud.

Today, we’re doing a deep dive into The Wardrummer, the rhythmic backbone of any elite squad.

    Who is The Wardrummer?

The Wardrummer isn’t your typical support class. While other games might relegate the “buffer” to the backlines, Wardrum forces this character into the thick of it. He is a Combat Enforcer, a character that turns the tide of battle by syncing his team’s actions to a literal beat.

Pro Tip: Playing The Wardrummer is as much a rhythm game as it is a tactical shooter. If you can’t keep the beat, you’re just a target with a loud instrument.

Core Abilities: The Rhythm of War

What makes The Wardrummer tick? It all comes down to his unique Sync-System.

Mastery: The Art of the Beat

To excel as The Wardrummer, you have to understand Beat Timing. Unlike other characters who have simple cooldowns, The Wardrummer’s effectiveness increases when you activate abilities on the “downbeat” of his internal metronome.

Perfect Sync: Landing an ability on the beat grants a 25% bonus to the effect.

Discord: Missing the timing can cause your drum to “overheat,” leaving you vulnerable for 2 seconds.

    Why the Meta is Shifting

We’re seeing a massive uptick in Wardrummer picks in high-ranked play for one reason: Sustainability. In a meta dominated by glass-cannon builds, the Wardrummer provides the necessary “clutch” defence that allows DPS characters to stay in the fight longer.

He is the ultimate force multiplier. A squad with a skilled Wardrummer effectively operates at 1.5x speed, making them nearly impossible to pin down in urban maps.

    The Verdict

The Wardrummer is easily one of the most rewarding characters to master in Wardrum. He rewards players who have a sense of timing, spatial awareness, and a desire to lead from the front. He doesn’t just help you win the fight; he dictates the pace of it.

Is he the GOAT support? Probably. But he’s also one of the hardest to play well.
