Potato Pirates! Enter The Spudnet!

Codomo, https://potato-pirates-2-enter-the.kckb.st/fa8419b6 an educational technology company, announced today that they have launched a tabletop game on Kickstarter to help people be more cyber-savvy and understand how the Internet works without the use of any computers.

The game, Potato Pirates: Enter The Spudnet, is a board game of sabotage and strategy that gives one a bird’s eye view of cybersecurity concepts in minutes. The board itself represents the Internet and every movement on the board is a visualization of how data travels (or propagates for you techies) on the Internet in the most intuitive way.

Perfect for ages 10 and up, the game facilitates the learning of fundamental computer networking concepts, such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, data propagation, network architecture, malicious software (aka malware) and how they compromise our networks, and finally cybersecurity – how one can defend oneself against such cyber threats. All this entirely screen-free.

Potato Pirates: Enter The Spudnet is a board game for the hacker in everyone. The various card combinations allow for a unique gaming experience with each game. The more you play it, the more you understand about cybersecurity and how the Internet works. The campaign is live on Kickstarter now. Support us and have a blast fending off pesky cyber attackers with your family and friends!

Potato Pirates: Enter the Spudnet is designed by Codomo, an educational technology company from Singapore. Our vision is to deliver delightful, future-ready educational experiences.
