Remember the eco-packaging design by Dezeen and Samsung that we featured recently? Well it looks like they have a winner, from all of those brilliant out of box ideas the teams at Dezeen and Samsung have come up with the winner, it is the Endangered Animals by Sarah Willemart and Matthieu Muller the one that turned from an empty box into a range of animals. This is a great idea and the winner is well deserved, but it seems like this is merely a competition and unless all packaging for all products has another use, the problem is still going to get worse, this is time for change lets see what other good ideas designers can come up with for disused packaging.
Out of thousands of designs created with the Eco-Package for Dezeen and Samsung’s Out of the Box Competition, one stood out.
Our 2020 winner: Endangered Animals by Sarah Willemart and Matthieu Muller. The animal companions they’ve created can be used as toys, storage, home decor, and most importantly, teach children about declining biodiversity.
