For the Vikings Valhalla is the afterlife following a death in battle, the story goes that it is located in Asgard and ruled by the god Odin, but only half of those who have been killed in battle are chosen by Odin, for the other half they go to Fólkvangr place ruled by the goddess Freyja.
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the story is slightly different as it follows the time when Vikings were able to move around northern Europe invading at will. Yet it was more complex than that, as in many cases they did not just pillage they actually stayed and assimilated the locals into their ranks.
The story takes place in England where the Vikings have settled and a large community has been created, but the Saxons have other ideas about that and constantly push the boundaries of the invading Viking hordes.
There is some new content available in the new season pass comes with some great expansions to get your teeth into, the first is the Wrath of the Druids, and then there is The Siege of Paris. If that is not enough there is as a bonus quest, The Legend of Beowulf! Can you handle all of this?
