How many times have you thought that you have been somewhere before or seen something before? Well image living a day over and over again like living in your very own groundhog day, this is what Colt the main character in Deathloop is having to do, with the added hazard of trying to avoid Julianna whose mission it is to kill him and start the loop over again.
It may sound easy, but Colt has his own mission to complete in order to stop the time loop and return to his regular life. There are eight targets located all around the island, they need to be assassinated, complete the mission and end the Deathloop, fail to complete the mission within the day or be killed by Julianna means the days starts again and again.
Welcome to Blackreef, where the party never stops and neither does the killing. For most of its inhabitants, it’s a paradise. But for Colt, it’s an inescapable prison. Thanks to a mysterious time loop, he’s reliving the same day, over and over, trying to find a way to break the endless cycle he’s trapped in.
