Jaime Reyes was a normal student until he found an ancient artefact that will change his life forever. Some of our heroes are born with their abilities, while for others superpowers are given to them, which is the case here for Jaime, the scarab has chosen him to be its next symbiotic host.
The scarab is an ancient artefact based on alien biotechnology, it joins with the host and when needed provides protection through its blue armour and offers the host a few other features that Jaime Reyes is yet to discover and master as he becomes the latest crime-fighting hero from DC Comics to hit the movie screens.
