The new limited-time Containment event pits a team of Attackers against a monstrous Defender crew of Protean terrors with vicious melee attacks, a large health pool, and both Oryx’s Remah Dash and Aruni’s punch abilities. In the new mode, Nest Destruction, the Attackers must find and destroy two nests in order to access the final target and take it down, all while the Defenders stalk them in the shadows. Will the Ubisoft News team overcome their parasitical enemies and purge the nests from the corrupted Consulate map, or will they embrace the outbreak and obliterate their foes? Probably both.
The Containment Collection includes 33 cosmetic items to unlock through Containment Collection packs (get a free one just for logging in!) or through bundles at the store. In addition to the Sentient Growth signature weapon and attachment skins and the Antiparasitic Serum charm, the Collection includes headgear, uniforms, and weapon skins for ten featured Operators: Aruni, Jäger, Kaid, Mira, and Warden on the mutated Defender team, and IQ, Ace, Blackbeard, Zero, and Amaru on the Attacker team. The Containment event is live now through August 24.
