Kuro Games has officially pulled back the curtain on Version 3.3, titled “Reverbs From the End of Galaxies.” This isn’t just any regular update—it serves as the backdrop for the game’s highly anticipated second anniversary.
From high-stakes galactic travel to generous community rewards, here is a breakdown of what Rovers can expect when the update drops on 30th April 2026.
New Resonators: Hiyuki and Denia
The character roster is expanding with two powerful new 5-Star Resonators, each bringing a unique flair to the battlefield.
- Hiyuki (5-Star Glacio, Sword): Making her debut in Phase 1, Hiyuki is a member of the Special Response Force. She is a dedicated Main DPS who utilises the power of the “Suzu” to manipulate ice. Her kit revolves around applying “Glacio Chafe” to enemies and shifting between three distinct blade styles.
- Denia (5-Star Fusion, Rectifier): Arriving in Phase 2, Denia is a versatile Sub-DPS. She can switch between “Fusion Burst” and “Tune Strain” modes, using bubble-like attacks and clawed manifestations to control the field.
Anniversary Rewards & Events
To celebrate two years of Wuthering Waves, Kuro Games is being significantly generous. Players can look forward to:
- 40 Free Pulls: Distributed through various login events and anniversary rewards.
- Log-in Bonuses: Starting April 30, players can claim 20 Radiant Tides and 10 Crystal Solvents just for showing up.
- Star Bouncing Event: A themed anniversary event where Rovers transform into pinball figures to battle in new “Persona” forms.
- Exclusive Cosmetics: A new “Accessory” system is being introduced, allowing for deeper customisation. Players can also earn an exclusive 2nd-anniversary title and avatar.
Story Expansion and New Regions
The narrative moves into its most ambitious phase yet. In the quest “Starlights from Yesterdays,” Rover will pilot the Exostrider through the Stridergate into deep Voidspace—a high-concentration zone at the edge of the galaxy—to track down Aemeath and confront the Fractsidus.
To support this exploration, a new area called Dimmr Plains (connected to the Bjartr Woods) will open up. This underground region is heavily influenced by Threnodian energy, offering a darker, more atmospheric environment to explore.
Major Collaborations and QoL
Kuro Games is leaning heavily into partnerships for this milestone. The “Second Coming of Solaris” collab season will feature themed Expedition Motorbike liveries inspired by massive IPs like Resident Evil, PRAGMATA, and even Angry Birds.
Technical improvements include:
- Mobile Performance: A new proprietary frame generation tool to boost FPS on mid-range devices.
- PC Graphics: Support for DLAA and improved Anisotropic Filtering for sharper textures.
- UI Overhaul: Streamlined menus for the Data Bank, Backpack, and Team screens.
