The “Conquest” Meta Event
At the heart of Season 1 is Conquest, a 5-week faction-based war. Players must pledge their allegiance to either Overwatch or Talon to influence the story and unlock exclusive loot.
- Lore Missions: Complete weekly challenges tied to the unfolding narrative.
- Dynamic Rewards: Earn up to 75 Lootboxes, legendary faction-themed skins for Echo, and exclusive titles.
- Double Agent: Finished your faction pass? You can switch sides mid-week to experience the story from the other perspective.
A Massive Roster Expansion
Blizzard is making a statement by launching five new heroes at once. These newcomers are central to the Reign of Talon storyline:

- The “Praise” System: Use recorded hero VO lines to provide positive feedback to teammates mid-match.
- Competitive Reset: A fresh start for all players, featuring the new Crimson Wolf competitive weapon skin.
Collaborations & Mythics
- Hello Kitty x Overwatch: A wild crossover featuring themed skins for D.Va, Widowmaker, Juno, Mercy, Kiriko, and Lucio.
- Mythic Updates: Mercy receives the Celestial Guardian Mythic skin, and the Mythic Store continues to expand with new weapons for the roster.
