When your interstellar space freighter is damaged during a mission there is nothing better than finding a planet that is habitable, however, this is a story of survival with the crew dispersed over a wide and the ship in ruins the survivors must find a way of working together until they are either rescued or are able to make the ship fly once more.
This is the Scavengers Reign animated TV series on Max, it is based on the original story Scavengers, it shows that even a beautiful alien world has hidden dangers, this is a planet that has evolved without any interference from humans and so everything looks fine you cannot go on first impressions.
