The update brings a haunting new map, a mountain of creepy cosmetics, a bone-rattling Halloween boss, permanent game-improving systems, and hundreds of fixes — all free for all players.
Into the Redwood — A Brand-New Frontier Awaits
Step into the mist. The headline addition is Redwood, a sprawling, atmospheric new map unlocked through a fresh questline in the Woodlands. Towering ancient trees, dim lantern light, and multi-level terrain make it perfect for sharpshooters, stealthy players, and anyone who wants to explore somewhere genuinely eerie. It’s not just a seasonal treat — Redwood is here to stay, a permanent addition to the map rotation long after the pumpkins rot.
Collect, Ritual, Unlock — How the Event Works
The entire game has been given a spooky makeover — maps, lobby, and all — with a roughly 20% boost to atmosphere that sticks around permanently. To earn the event-exclusive loot, you’ll hunt for three special resources across Far West, Area 41, and Redwood:
