Signal Detected. Someone’s Listening: Cyberpunk RPG ‘Radiotext’ Hits Steam This September

If you’re a fan of immersive retro interfaces, cypherpunk lore, and high-stakes narrative hacking, tune your dials. Indie developer and publisher Alp Arslan has officially announced that Radiotext, an upcoming cyberpunk hacking RPG built around a forgotten 1990s communication network, is scheduled to launch on September 30th.

For players eager to jack into the matrix early, a free playable demo is available now on Steam.

Decipher the Airwaves: What is Radiotext?

Set in a near-future dystopian world dominated by corporate overlords, Radiotext plunges players into a covert underground resistance. When traditional digital communication is monitored and compromised, activists turn to a forgotten relic: a 1990s cryptographic software network that utilises radio waves to transmit data undetected.

You step into this analogue-meets-cyberpunk world after being handed a mysterious USB drive. Plugging it in drops you straight into a dark, cryptographic radio net as a complete outsider. Your goal? Navigate terminal interfaces, decrypt frequencies, and piece together the mysteries hidden within the static.

    Key Features & Gameplay Highlights

    • Retro Terminal Aesthetics: Featuring an authentic terminal interface, custom typing mechanics, static audio design, and customizable UI settings (including colour nodes and contrast controls).
    • Deep Narrative & Dynamic Choices: Interact with over 12 complex, fully written characters—ranging from fellow activists and broken survivors to digital ghosts. Trust is scarce, and a mole may be hiding among the ranks.
    • Hidden Words & Branching Paths: Dialogue isn’t just about selecting pre-made answers; hidden keywords and secret input paths alter how conversations unfold and shape the overarching story.
    • Focused Experience with High Replayability: The main campaign offers a tight 3–4 hour narrative designed for impactful playthroughs, featuring multiple endings and interconnecting paths that encourage replayability.

Try the Free Steam Demo Today

If you want a taste of the analogue rebellion before the full release, the free Steam demo provides a 30 to 60-minute standalone look into the core mechanics and narrative branching. Early player feedback on Steam has already praised its atmospheric sound design, retro immersion, and clever mechanics.

Mark your calendars for September 30th, head over to Steam to wishlist Radiotext, and test your cypherpunk instincts with the free demo today.

Tickets, Please! Post-Apocalyptic Bullet Heaven ‘Endless Rails’ Steam Release Date Revealed

Get ready to check your tickets and lock your loadouts. Developer Studio Monoblok has officially announced that Endless Rails, its high-octane, isometric bullet heaven roguelite, will be rolling onto PC via Steam on September 30th.

If you’re a fan of Vampire Survivors-style horde survival mixed with strategic tower defence and customisation, this post-apocalyptic ride promises absolute chaos.

    Watch the Official Trailer Below:

Check out the brand-new release date trailer showcasing the isometric monster-slaying mayhem in action:

Survive the Wasteland at All Costs

In Endless Rails, players are dropped into a wasteland swarming with bloodthirsty monsters. Your ultimate goal? Survive the impossible mission and escape.

Rather than controlling a single hero on foot, you’re tasked with defending an armoured, high-speed train as it barrels through dangerous tracks. To survive the onslaught, you’ll command a fleet of auto-firing drones, bolt heavy artillery onto your train cars, and keep the tracks clear of monstrous threats.

The game balances fast, action-packed sprints between train stations (each lasting around 20 to 30 seconds) with deep tactical strategy between runs.

Key Features Coming to Endless Rails:

    • Custom Train Building: At every station stop, use your hard-earned gold to buy new wagons, weapons, drone slots, and survival buffs.
    • Car Merging System: Merge and reorder your train cars to increase their durability and unlock extra module slots for even more firepower.
    • Auto-Firing Drones: Deploy specialised, auto-firing drones that automatically rain down destruction on incoming swarms while you manage train defence and strategy.
    • Permanent Roguelite Progression: Spend meta-currency between runs on a robust permanent upgrade tree, giving you a fighting chance as the wasteland pushes back harder.
    • High-Octane Combat: Designed for quick, addictive play sessions with that classic “just one more run” energy. Studio Monoblok even cheekily promises you can “keep rolling until you or the game crashes.”

Endless Rails launches September 30th on Steam. A playable demo is currently available for players looking to test their tracks early.

  • Reshape the Battlefield: Dark Sci-Fi Tactical Tower Defense ‘DROP ORDER’ Officially Revealed for PC

Reshape the Battlefield: Dark Sci-Fi Tactical Tower Defense ‘DROP ORDER’ Officially Revealed for PC

Independent developer and publisher Duckskill has officially unveiled its next major project, launching the Steam Coming Soon page and debuting the dynamic announcement trailer for DROP ORDER.

Blending dark sci-fi aesthetics with a hybrid of deckbuilding, roguelite mechanics, and tactical tower defence, DROP ORDER throws out the old-school rules of rigid tower slots. Instead, it invites players to completely control the flow of combat by reshaping the map itself.

Redefining Tower Defence: A Spatial Puzzle

In DROP ORDER, defence is far more than just upgrading pre-placed turrets. Combat functions as an evolving spatial puzzle where strategy and adaptability are paramount:

    • Player-Controlled Enemy Pathfinding: Throw away fixed paths. Using deckbuilding mechanics, you deploy turrets and tactical support structures anywhere on the grid to actively alter enemy routeing. Construct deadly chokepoints, extend incoming routes, and turn open arenas into lethal, custom-made kill boxes.
    • Deckbuilding & Synergy: Utilise a growing deck of cards to drop firepower, construct defences, and chain together high-lethal synergies designed to crumble invading alien hordes.
    • Direct Combat Control: You aren’t just sitting back and watching the chaos unfold. When enemy waves intensify, players can jump straight into the fray by taking direct control of an active combat drone—firing directly at weak points and shoring up vulnerable breach spots in real time.

    Reclamation Operations Aboard UNION-9

Set against a bleak, atmospheric backdrop, DROP ORDER places humanity on the brink of survival. Operating aboard UNION-9, a vast orbital station hovering above a ruined Earth, players deploy remote operations to reclaim the planet from the terrifying alien organisms that took over.

Each mission isn’t just a battle—it’s a reclamation push. Successful operations reward players with vital resources and feed into a persistent progression system aboard UNION-9. As you unlock new technologies, expand your card pool, and refine your deck, future runs yield stronger tactical possibilities.

Watch the Trailer & Wishlist Today

With its unique fusion of real-time drone combat, tactical grid manipulation, and deckbuilding progression, DROP ORDER promises a fresh, highly replayable spin on the tower defence genre for PC strategy fans.

  • Descend Into Hell: ‘The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline’ Secures September Release Date

Descend Into Hell: ‘The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline’ Secures September Release Date

Get ready to experience a chilling, psychological take on classical literature. Spanish independent publisher Entalto Publishing and Italian independent developer ONE O ONE GAMES have officially announced that their upcoming first-person psychological mystery thriller, The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline, is set to launch on September 10.

The story-driven adventure will be available digitally across PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Nintendo fans won’t be left in the dark for long, either, as a Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled to land later in the year.

A Modern Nightmare Inspired by The Divine Comedy

While world literature remembers Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy as a masterpiece of poetic genius, for protagonist Gabriele Alighieri, it is a living prison.

Set in a dark, modern interpretation of Dante’s universe, the game forces players into the shoes of a reluctant heir crushed by a generations-old legacy. Every 33 years, the veil between our reality and the infernal depths thins. To protect his family and seal the gates of Hell, Gabriele must return to his ancestral Italian manor to complete an esoteric ritual—confronting a horrific destiny he has spent his entire life trying to escape.

No Combat, No Cheap Jump Scares—Pure Psychological Tension

Differing from standard survival horror games, The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline rejects action mechanics and weapons. Instead, ONE O ONE GAMES has crafted a slow-burning, atmospheric experience focused entirely on exploration, spatial awareness, and story.

    Key gameplay features include:

    • Two Converging Realities: Shift between The Villa—a quiet, melancholic Italian manor heavy with buried family secrets—and The Dive, a twisted, surreal reflection of the mind where guilt and trauma manifest as physical space.
    • Esoteric Puzzle-Solving: Decipher complex riddles, collect lost magical pages of The Divine Comedy, and piece together diary fragments to uncover the dark history of the Alighieri bloodline.
    • Atmosphere Over Action: With no traditional combat systems or jump scares, the game creates unsettling tension through silent halls, environmental storytelling, and spatial psychological dread.

    Mark Your Calendars

If you’re a fan of narrative-heavy walking simulators, psychological mysteries, or dark literary adaptations, The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline promises to be one of the most intriguing indie releases this autumn.

  • Total Realism Overhaul: Bodycam v0.8 ‘Locked and Loaded’ Rebuilds the Hyper-Realistic Shooter From the Ground Up

Total Realism Overhaul: Bodycam v0.8 ‘Locked and Loaded’ Rebuilds the Hyper-Realistic Shooter From the Ground Up

Independent developer Reissad Studio has officially released the first instalment of a four-part devlog series detailing v0.8 “Locked and Loaded,” the massive upcoming major update for their hyper-realistic first-person shooter, Bodycam. Scheduled to launch on September 2, 2026, on Steam, this update represents a monumental turning point for the title, completely rebuilding core mechanics from the ground up to elevate photorealism, immersion, and tactical depth to unprecedented heights.

The debut devlog focuses heavily on sweeping overhauls to animations, loadout systems, and user experience (UX), giving players a look at how the game will make operators feel far more human, grounded, and physically present in high-stress combat zones.

    Next-Gen Contextual & Procedural Animations

To make player avatars move and react with authentic human physics, Reissad Studio is introducing complex contextual and procedural animation systems. Weapon handling, reload motions, and physical stance adjustments will no longer rely on static preset animations. Instead, they will dynamically adapt in real-time based on an operator’s:

    • Stress levels and adrenaline
    • Current stance and proximity to cover or combat
    • Ammunition type and weapon condition

Key additions like realistic bodycam camera adjustments, organic hand-position variations, and visceral, instinctive flinching responses during nearby explosions add a profound layer of tactical grit to every firefight.

Structured Loadout System & In-Game Progression

Up until now, gearing up in Bodycam was relatively minimal. Update v0.8 replaces this with a deeply structured Loadout system. Gamers will now be able to fully customise their operational kits across several slots:

    • Primary & Secondary Firearms
    • Melee Tools
    • Explosives & Lethals
    • Tactical Gadgets

Equipment and items will be unlockable through player progression and RP (Reissad Points), giving long-time fans a clear, rewarding progression path.

High-Tech Tactical Toys: FPV Drones, RC Cars, and Mid-Match Tablets

Tactical flexibility is getting a serious boost in Locked and Loaded. Players will gain access to physics-based FPV drones and explosive RC cars, allowing squads to scout tight corridors or deliver lethal surprises from around corners.

Furthermore, traditional pause and UI menus are being swapped out in favour of an immersive in-game tablet system. Rather than freezing the screen or opening abstract menus, operators will physically pull out a digital tablet mid-match to adjust gear, check map data, or reconfigure settings—forcing players to stay aware of their surroundings, as taking your eyes off the room leaves you completely vulnerable to enemy attack.

What’s Coming Next? Three More Devlogs En Route

As Studio Director Luca Dassier noted:

“The ‘Locked and Loaded’ update is much more than just adding new content; it’s about shaping the future of Bodycam. Our relentless goal remains absolute realism and immersion, never seen or felt quite like this.”

This first devlog is only the beginning. Reissad Studio will roll out three additional devlog videos leading up to the September 2, 2026 launch, covering:

    1. Sound Design Overhauls (Audio propagation, occlusion, dynamic soundscapes)
    2. The New “Trenches” Map
    3. Massive Quality of Life (QoL) & System Improvements

With its foundation completely overhauled, Bodycam v0.8 is positioning itself as one of the most ambitious updates in tactical FPS history.

  • Into the Abyss: ‘Entropy’ Delivers PS1-Style Tactical Grimness from the Creators of ‘Dread Delusion’

Into the Abyss: ‘Entropy’ Delivers PS1-Style Tactical Grimness from the Creators of ‘Dread Delusion’

Indie studio Lovely Hellplace (the creative minds behind the critically acclaimed open-world RPG Dread Delusion) and publisher DreadXP have unleashed their next dark, atmospheric project upon the gaming world: Entropy.

Now available on PC via Steam Early Access for $11.99, Entropy trades the open-world exploration of King’s Field and Morrowind for a sinister, low-poly tactical RPG heavily inspired by classic console JRPGs of the PSX era.

If you are a fan of old-school mechanics, retro aesthetics, and bleak, world-ending fantasy, here is everything you need to know about this brutal new adventure.

A World Ending Not with a Bang, But a Whimper

Unlike standard post-apocalyptic tales that feature grand cataclysms or nuclear fallouts, the world of Entropy is dying slowly. There was no single world-ending event—only the relentless, cruel march of time and an inexplicable, global infertility.

Settlements in the barren moor of Draenog are squalid, medieval, and ruled by cruel tyrants. Outside these feeble safe havens, accursed creatures roam the desolate lands.

Your journey doesn’t start with a legendary prophecy. You begin as part of a theatre troupe in the town of Draenog, performing a play when demons suddenly breach the city gates. Armed only with a wooden prop sword, you must gather your troupe, survive the immediate slaughter, and lead a desperate expedition into the depths of hell to halt the demonic incursion.

    Key Gameplay Features

    • Tactical Turn-Based Combat: Engage in tactical battles inspired by classic 90s JRPGs. Strategy is everything when fighting off demonic hordes.
    • Limb-Targeting & Dismemberment System: Tactical combat in Entropy lets you target enemy limbs directly. Severing limbs weakens foes and disables their deadlier attacks—though as the developers note, you can still run for your life if you have two legs and no arms!
    • Manage a Party of 6: Control up to six characters in battle. Assemble a diverse squad, level up stats, and unlock powerful perks.
    • Expendable Mercenaries: In a world where life is cheap, mercenaries are ready for hire. When party members inevitably fall in combat, hire fresh meat to fill the gaps in your ranks.
    • Nostalgic Low-Poly Visuals: Featuring a retro, 32-bit PS1 aesthetic, the low-poly graphics deliver a rich, eerie atmosphere that evokes classic late-90s RPG nostalgia.

    Early Access Roadmap

Entropy launches into Steam Early Access with Act 1: The Gloaming Isles fully playable—representing roughly a quarter of the full experience. Act 1 features two main towns, three deep dungeons, and numerous side locations, quests, characters, armours, and spells.

Developer Lovely Hellplace plans for the game to remain in Early Access for approximately one year, releasing major updates corresponding to Acts 2 and 3 as the game develops toward a full 1.0 release.

    How to Play

Entropy is out now in Early Access on PC. You can jump in today, lead your troupe, and test your tactical grit against the end of the world.

  • Space Janitors, Discopunk, and Black Holes: ‘RetroSpace’ Blasts Onto PC and Consoles This October!

Space Janitors, Discopunk, and Black Holes: ‘RetroSpace’ Blasts Onto PC and Consoles This October!

Get your bell-bottoms, plasma cutters, and ’70s moustaches ready! UK publisher Kwalee and developer The Wild Gentlemen (the creative minds behind Chicken Police) have officially dropped a massive announcement: their highly anticipated immersive sim RetroSpace is officially launching on October 1, 2026.

The retro-futuristic horror title is coming to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, bringing a heavy dose of disco-punk mayhem to current-gen platforms.

    What is RetroSpace?

Described as a love letter to classic immersive sims like System Shock and Deus Ex, RetroSpace drops players into the boots of a 3D-printed clone janitor aboard Aurora 5—a sprawling space station that has unfortunately been swallowed by a sentient black hole.

With reality warping, time jumping back and forth, and bizarre plant-animal hybrid mutants roaming the corridors, you might just be humanity’s last (and most unlikely) hope for survival.

    Key Features to Expect:

    • Stealth vs. Full-Blown Action: True to the immersive sim genre, there is no single “right” way to play. Hack security turrets, lurk in the shadows, craft distractions, or go guns-blazing using burning alien body parts as improvised weapons.
    • Wild “Mutamods™”: Upgrade your janitor with powers like tentacle arms, mind control, or shadow-melding skills. Just watch out—mutations come with unpredictable and irreversible physical and mental side effects.
    • Metroidvania Space Station Design: Explore the interconnected halls of Aurora 5, uncover shortcuts, and retreat back to a (mostly) peaceful central HUB when the cosmic horror gets too overwhelming.
    • Death, Rebirth, and Clones: Dying isn’t the end. Aurora 5 will simply print a fresh clone of you. However, new clones can suffer from “degenerations,” and you’ll have to track down your previous corpse to retrieve your lost equipment.
    • Groovy ’70s Aesthetics: A low-poly visual design combined with 1960s/70s retro-futurism, discopunk tunes, dark satirical humour, and plenty of iconic facial hair.

    When Can You Play?

Mark your calendars for October 1, 2026. Whether you prefer sneaking through the dark on PC, tackling mutants on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, or taking the disco-punk horror on the go with the Nintendo Switch 2, RetroSpace is shaping up to be one of this autumn’s most unique releases.

A free playable demo is currently available on Steam for PC gamers eager to take an early tour of Aurora 5!

  • A New Nightmare Awakens: Thai Horror Epic ‘Kumarn: The Wandering Spirit’

A New Nightmare Awakens: Thai Horror Epic ‘Kumarn: The Wandering Spirit’

Get ready to turn on all the lights in your room—there’s a terrifying new cinematic horror adventure heading our way, and it’s deeply rooted in rich, haunting Thai folklore.

Indie publisher Wired Productions has officially expanded its Gamescom line-up with a major announcement: a global publishing partnership with Thailand-based developer WereBuff Studio for their highly ambitious debut title, Kumarn: The Wandering Spirit.

Set to launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2027, Kumarn: The Wandering Spirit promises to deliver an atmospheric, narrative-driven horror experience unlike anything Western gamers have seen before.

What is Kumarn: The Wandering Spirit?

For horror fans, atmosphere is everything—and Kumarn brings it in spades. Grounded in authentic Thai mythology, the game revolves around the eerie legend of the Kuman Thong (or Kumarn), a revered divine child spirit in Thai folk religion believed to bring good luck, protection, or—if mistreated or invoked through dark rituals—incur severe misfortune and horror.

WereBuff Studio is taking this fascinating spiritual concept and weaving it into a high-stakes, cinematic horror adventure. Players can expect:

    • Deep Narrative & Thai Lore: A story steeped in cultural myth, tradition, and psychological terror.
    • Cinematic Visuals: Powered by modern rendering techniques to create unsettling environments, terrifying spirit encounters, and visceral tension.
    • Immersive Gameplay: A focus on exploration, puzzle-solving, and survival mechanisms while navigating eerie, mythic landscapes.

A Match Made in Indie Heaven

Wired Productions has built a stellar reputation for backing bold, narrative-driven, and unique gaming experiences (having published acclaimed hits like The Falconeer, Martha Is Dead, and Deliver Us The Moon). Partnering with WereBuff Studio—a rising talent in Southeast Asia’s rapidly expanding gamedev scene—signals a major step forward for cultural representation in mainstream horror gaming.

Leo Zullo, Managing Director at Wired Productions, and the team at WereBuff Studio expressed tremendous excitement for bringing authentic regional folklore to a worldwide audience, highlighting that Kumarn represents a fresh, untapped direction for the psychological horror genre.

    When Can You Play It?

Gamers attending Gamescom will be able to catch a closer look at Wired Productions’ full slate of upcoming titles, with Kumarn: The Wandering Spirit standing out as one of the most intriguing dark horses on the roster.

While the release window is set for 2027 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), horror aficionados should definitely add this to their wishlists early. • Brace for Impact: Bepansrad Studio Reveals Physics-Based Survivor Game ‘Ogre Stampede’

Brace for Impact: Bepansrad Studio Reveals Physics-Based Survivor Game ‘Ogre Stampede’

The survivor-like genre is getting a chaotic, physics-driven twist. Independent developer Bepansrad Studio—the solo project of Swedish creator Mikael Borghult (Petrified Pawns)—has officially revealed Ogre Stampede, an unorthodox new action-arcade game now listed on Steam.

Instead of the usual formula where players endlessly dodge enemies while automatically firing hyper-powered projectiles, Ogre Stampede flips the script. Players take control of a heavily armoured, defensive tank trapped in a compact mosh pit overrun by a wild swarm of dim-witted ogres, trolls, and goblins running amok.

    Shield First, Ask Questions Later

In Ogre Stampede, survival hinges entirely on momentum, positioning, and physics. The towering hordes charging at you aren’t tactical geniuses—these low-intelligence monsters sprint in straight lines, ricocheting off arena walls, environmental obstacles, and each other.

Rather than relying purely on firepower, your primary weapon is your shield. Players must strategically position their defensive tank to absorb incoming charges, deflect brute forces, and bounce enemies into walls or rival beasts. The result is a high-octane, chaotic pinball-style arena where spatial awareness and impact control determine who survives the brawl.

    Fast Rounds, Big Upgrades

Designed with incremental progression in mind, Ogre Stampede keeps the gameplay fast and satisfying:

    • No Permanent Death: Falling in battle isn’t the end. Every run grants gold whether you win or get trampled, allowing you to jump right back into the action.
    • Incremental Talent Tree: Between chaotic rounds, players can spend earned gold on an expansive skill tree to unlock new active equipment, passive abilities, and stat boosts.
    • Low-Poly Aesthetic: The title features Bepansrad Studio’s signature 3D low-poly art direction, emphasising sharp geometric lines, stylised silhouettes, and high visibility amidst the clutter.

A Fresh Take on the Bullet-Hell Craze

By replacing delicate dodges with heavy physical collisions and defensive counter-play, Ogre Stampede offers a fresh alternative for fans of top-down survivor games and incremental arcade titles. Players looking to hold the line against a tidal wave of fantasy monsters can already add the game to their Steam Wishlist.

What is Stick it to the Stickman?

At its core, Stick it to the Stickman is a chaotic, high-impact roguelike brawler loaded with physics-based slapstick combat. Your objective is simple: climb the corporate ladder by literally beating down every red stickman standing between you and the CEO’s office.

Forget polite workplace etiquette and HR policy—in this truly hostile work environment, promotion requires absolute dominance.

    • Sick Combat Moves: Build your combat arsenal from hundreds of unique combinations. Punch, kick, slice, dice, fireball, or jackhammer your way through hordes of compliant co-workers and middle management.
    • HR-Approved Arsenal: Why settle for a regular office supply when you can wield staple guns, chainsaws, weaponised farts, and caffeine-fuelled attacks?
    • Corporate Expansion: Take over rival subsidiary companies to squeeze out the competition, unlocking new archetypes, boss fights, levels, and passives as you build your corporate empire.
