Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective the Operator Survivor Reveal

New Survivor: Operator

The first of two new survivors for the Alloyed Collective DLC has been revealed: the Operator.

Class/Theme: The Operator is a new character with a focus on drones and drone manipulation, filling a “summoner” archetype. This differentiates them from other survivors and provides a new playstyle.

Abilities:

Drone Tech: The Operator starts each stage with two drone companions.

H3-11 OCR Custom: A pistol that can fire shots with ricochet and high damage.

Admin-Override: A command that directs drones to use special skills.

Ascent Protocol: A mobility skill that allows the Operator to fly with the help of their drones.

Ejection Core: An ability to launch a drone for high-damage crowd control.

DLC Content

New Survivors: The DLC will introduce two new survivors in total. Operator is the first to be revealed.

New Stages: The expansion will include six all-new stages, including:

Pretender’s Precipice

Iron Alluvium

Repurposed Crater

Conduit Canyon

New Drones: Seven new drone types will be available, with a new station to modify them.

New Enemies: Players will face off against seven new enemies from the Solus family.

New Bosses: The DLC will feature a new Teleporter boss and an alternate final boss for the endgame.

New Items: There will be 15 new items to expand the game’s arsenal.

Co-op: As with previous DLCs, only one player in a lobby needs to own Alloyed Collective for the new monsters, stages, and items to appear. However, only owners can select the new survivors or permanently unlock new content.

Release Information

Release Date: The DLC is confirmed to launch in 2025, but an exact date has not been announced. Gearbox has stated they are taking their time to ensure a smooth release and avoid crunch.

Platforms: The DLC will be available for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
