Sim racing fans, rev your engines. Publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios have officially unleashed the V8 Power Pack for Project Motor Racing, bringing raw horsepower, iconic engine notes, and a fan-favourite circuit to the simulator.

Whether you are a veteran of classic muscle or live for modern GT endurance machinery, this latest content drop is designed to turn up the volume in every sense.

What’s Included in the V8 Power Pack?

The new expansion focuses heavily on muscle, thunder, and precision engineering across decades of motorsport history. Here is a breakdown of what players can expect:

1. Nine High-Octane V8 Race Cars

The update introduces nine distinct V8-powered machines spanning three iconic eras of competition:

  • Classic Era: Vintage muscle cars with high torque, heavy bodies, and pure, unfiltered mechanical drive.
  • Golden Age Era: Mid-era circuit legends that balance raw power with improved aero and chassis dynamics.
  • Modern Era: Cutting-edge GT and endurance V8 beasts equipped with modern downforce, slick tyres, and razor-sharp handling.

2. Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (Laser-Scanned)

Alongside the new car roster comes a fully laser-scanned rendition of Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Located in Braselton, Georgia, this 2.54-mile, 12-turn road course is famous for its high-speed elevation changes, the sweeping Turn 1, and the notoriously fast back straight leading into the downhill Esses.

With precision scanning, players can feel every kerb, elevation drop, and tarmac transition just as real-world drivers experience during the Petit Le Mans.

Why Sim Racers Should Take Note

Straight4 Studios—led by sim racing industry veteran Ian Bell—has emphasised authentic physics, atmospheric audio, and realistic tyre mechanics for Project Motor Racing. The addition of nine distinctive V8 engines provides a perfect showcase for the simulator’s dynamic sound engine and force-feedback handling.

The V8 Power Pack expansion is available now across supported platforms.
