The journey beyond the Origin System begins now.

Digital Extremes has officially kicked off Epoch Operation: Taubound — a landmark, one-of-a-kind community event uniting Warframe players across all platforms to pave the way toward Warframe: Tau, the expansive new star system arriving later this year. Whether you’re a veteran Tenno or just stepping into your first Warframe, you’re invited to be part of history.

One Community. One Mission.

Taubound is more than an event — it’s a collective effort. The Sentient mothership Praghasa needs fuel to chart a course to the Tau System, and that fuel comes from you. Here’s how it works:

• Collect Moonflesh — head to Eris and complete missions to gather this rare new resource
• Contribute together — every Moonflesh collected worldwide fuels the journey; there’s no too small contribution
• Time is limited — the operation runs now until Tuesday, 17 November 2026 — and it will never return
• Open to nearly everyone — if you’ve completed Vor’s Prize, you can join in. New players welcome

Rewards Fit for a Starfarer

Trade your Moonflesh with Praghasa and unlock exclusive, one-time rewards that won’t be available again:

• Contegorus Armor Set — imposing, otherworldly protection
• Dhampyre Syandana — a striking cape customisation
• Vacis Amp Skin — stand out in every battle
• Legendary Core & Honoria — powerful upgrades to boost your Arsenal
• Vessel Glyphs & Decorations — show off your part in history

A Story Unfolds — Prologue to Tau

Alongside the community drive, a brand-new narrative awaits. Complete The Old Peace and The Hex to unlock the Prologue to Tau — a permanent quest that dives into the Lotus’ memories and reveals what lies ahead in the uncharted reaches. Step into the rain-slicked decay of Fornax, tangle with the fearsome Drowners, and face the ruthless kingpin Hunra — all before the full Tau System launches.

What Is Tau?

A new binary star system ages in the making — corrupted, dangerous, and full of secrets. Fornax, a once-glorious orbital ring city, now drowns in madness-inducing black rain. It’s here you’ll meet Brysko, a noir-inspired Warframe with a deadly Corecracker pistol and Rain & Shine gauntlets, plus Portau — Warframe’s very first in-game card game.

Ready to Answer the Call?

Log in to Warframe now — on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and mobile — to begin your contribution. Visit the Taubound page for full details, and stay tuned for the full Tau System launch coming later in 2026.

The path to Tau isn’t carved by one — it’s paved by all. Will you stand with the Tenno?
