Microids has just announced a brand-new 3D platforming adventure that promises to make everyone’s least favourite day of the week a whole lot more exciting. Developed by OSome Studio, Garfield – Escape from Monday is officially set to launch later this year.

The world’s most famous orange, cynical, and pasta-loving feline is embarking on an unforgettable journey that is as dynamic as it is delicious. While exact plot details are still under wraps, the title suggests Garfield is doing what we all wish we could do: completely bypassing Monday.

OSome Studio is no stranger to bringing iconic comic characters to life in vibrant 3D worlds (having previously worked on the Asterix & Obelix XXL series and The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf), making them the perfect team to capture the charm, humour, and attitude of Jim Davis’ beloved creation. Players can expect plenty of platforming challenges, puzzles, and undoubtedly a few nap-related mechanics.

You won’t have to wait too long to join the orange cat’s latest escapade. Garfield – Escape from Monday will be available on September 24, 2026.
