This year, millions of you stepped up to protect humanity from an apocalyptic zombie outbreak in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check — but your work is far from over. Available right now on PC (Steam, Game Pass) and Xbox.

Welcome to Ground Zero

Miami Zero isn’t just a new map — it’s a prequel campaign that throws you back to the very first days of the outbreak. Before the checkpoints, before the global quarantine, before the world fell apart — spring break was in full swing, and something was spreading faster than beach gossip.

You’re the first responder on the scene, screening crowds of panicked partygoers, locals, and tourists as the virus takes hold. This is where the story started — and what you discover here changes everything you thought you knew about the infection.

What’s New in the Sunshine State?

All-New Gameplay

• Lab research system — collect samples, study mutations, and track the virus back to its source
• Fresh inspection mechanics — never-before-seen symptoms require new tools and sharper instincts
• Yacht restoration project — help survivors repair a luxury vessel as their escape route from the city
• Dynamic weather — blistering heat gives way to torrential tropical storms that change how the virus behaves
• Over 30 unique survivors — each with distinct stories, risks, and secrets; your choices ripple across the campaign

A City on the Edge

Miami blends glitz and grit in classic style: neon-lit boardwalks, abandoned festival grounds, luxury marinas, and rain-soaked streets where the infected don’t just wander — they adapt. The virus here is mutating fast, and identifying who’s truly safe becomes harder than ever.

Free for Everyone

• No purchase required — Miami Zero downloads automatically for all base-game owners
• Base game 35% off on Steam through 19 Oct 2026 — perfect time to jump in
• Xbox & PC Game Pass subscribers get full access, including the expansion
• Miami Supporter Pack available separately — purely cosmetic beach-themed skins and dog outfits to back the team

Why It Matters

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has earned its place as a breakout hit, praised for its tense moral dilemmas, atmospheric storytelling, and deceptively deep simulation mechanics. Miami Zero is the largest update since launch — and Brigada Games is making it free as a thank you to the millions who’ve stood guard at the gate.

Ready to Return?

Whether you’re a veteran operator or a new recruit, the beaches of Miami are calling — and the clock is ticking. The outbreak didn’t start at the border. It started here. And someone needs to hold the line.

Download Miami Zero now via the Quarantine Zone Steam Page or your Xbox library. The sun’s out — but so is the danger.
